A one minute delay to this race at the request of race day control As the field left the boxes FLYING WHALE came in on to HIT DA NOS who ran in on to FIGIAN SAM resulting in these dogs losing ground at that point On the point of the top turn FLYING WHALE was trying to make up ground wide on the track and ran on to the heels of ZULU a couple of times and lost momentum at this stage

As the field raced in to the first turn MATILDA'S BEST from box one was held on the rail until the dogs started turning then was able to angle out , he ran out under the neck of THRILLING BOLT and took THRILLING LEE out very wide as the field raced across the top bend THRILLING LEE had all chance extinguished in this incident as she was forced to cover a lot of ground racing across the top
