Once a greyhound has graduated from the Great Mates Rehoming Programme, one of our four fabulous adoption partners creates a profile for the greyhound and publishes this to their website. You can view all hounds up for adoption and/or fill in an adoption form by clicking one of the four links below.
GREYHOUNDS AS PETS (GAP)
Greyhounds as Pets (GAP) is a registered charity with over 2000 completed adoptions since 2006 as proof of its processes. All of our team are committed to matching you to the hound that is perfect for your family circumstances. You will also have the support and knowledge of your Aftercare & Behaviour Consultant and our whole team for as long as needed to settle your new family member into your home. So whether it is your first hound, or maybe even your second or third, GAP will support you at every stage of your adoption journey.
NIGHTRAVE
Committed to the promotion of the wonderful Greyhound breed, Nightrave aim to match you with a greyhound that will suit your individual needs as pet owners to ensure each of our greyhounds finds the perfect home. Nightrave also provide further training, behavioural and general training, for specific greyhounds that may need some extra attention on their journey to becoming a pet.
KIWIKIWI HOUNDS ADOPTION
Here at Kiwikiwi Hounds, our mission is to help retired racing Greyhounds find loving pet homes at the end of their racing career and to actively promote Greyhounds as wonderful family pets. Working alongside other rehoming agencies, we strive to individually match each dog with a suitable family. We will offer support and guidance for however long is needed after the initial adoption.
MAY HOUNDS CHARITABLE TRUST
May Hounds Charitable Trust is an independent non-profit trust specialising in transitioning greyhounds from race dog to family pet primarily through a foster care system. We hope to make a small difference to the many racing greyhounds who retire each year. Experienced Greyhound owners ourselves, we are very aware of the special qualities of this majestic breed and wanted to enable other people to enjoy them as pets. May Hounds can provide extra training and behavioural modification to those hounds that need a little more assistance navigating their path to pet life. We provide full backup and support 24/7 for as long as required.
