| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C2 - C2 - 305 | The favourite OUR PLAYBOY drew box 1 and had to check in the back straight to avoid the heels of HOMEBUSH TIME. GROOVY SHANE shifted in on the first corner and OUR PLAYBOY was again checked losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305 | IMPERATIVE raced onto the heels of MISS TYRA on the first corner and fell and MISS TYRA also lost ground in the incident. IMPERATIVE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with bruising. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron c2 - C2 - 520 | SMASH BANG was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he did make up ground to finish in 4th place. LOTTO PROFIT who was racing up in grade and was well supported, did not keep up with pace and she raced well back in the field throughout and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 4 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C4 - C4 - 305 | LARA PINTER and MATES UNITE jostled together for several strides running to the first corner and MATES UNITE eventually dropped back two lengths and was hit from behind by SEDGEBROOK ELITE who also lost ground. Soon after MATES UNITE bumped with CAWBOURNE JOSE with both losing ground and they finished in the last two places. SEDGEBROOK ELITE recovered from the check and finished in 4th place. GROOVY BANDIT suffered a wrist injury and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days. |
| Race 5 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 305 | TWENTY SIXTY lost two lengths on the first corner when FLYING FLYNN shifted in when going to the lead. TWENTY SIXTY recovered to finish in 2nd place. FLYING FLYNN suffered a skinned stopper pad and was stood down for 10 days. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 520 | GREYWINDS KOBY was slow to begin but recovered to finish in 3rd place. KERRYS DELIGHT, TAILS OFF and CAUGHT THE EYE bumped together soon after the start and TAILS OFF and KERRYS DELIGHT suffered the most in the incident and they settled near the rear. |
| Race 7 | NZRS Final - NZRSf - 305 | THRILLING BASH was tightened going to the first corner when racing adjacent to the rail and he went back to last and never recovered. HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN galloped on the heels of JUST DEFY THAT on the first corner and both dogs lost ground. JUST DEFY THAT then ran wide on the bend covering extra ground and he finished in 2nd last place and just ahead of HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN. |
| Race 8 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3 - C3 - 305 | KEACHYS MATE and CAWBOUURNE DRAG bumped together near the first corner and CAWBOURNE DRAG dropped back onto the line of KEITHY GEE who checked off his heels and went back to last and he finished in that position. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | CAWBOURNE MO shifted out soon after the start and jostled with KERRIES FANTASY and BOTANY ANGEL and KERRIES FANTASY lost two lengths. CAWBOURNE MO continued to bore out and on the first corner this movement resulted in tightening and checks to BOTANY ANGELA, HOMEBUSH REECE, CAWBOURNE JADE and TINYSAURUS. The favourite TINYSAURUS was forced wide going into the bend as a result of being checked and she was then clipped from behind by CAWBOURNE JADE and after covering extra ground, she finished in last place. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C 4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | BIGTIME GEM checked off the heels of TARRA MAGIC going into the first bend and shifted out causing severe checks to SEPTEMBER BLUE and UNION STEAM who lost several lengths and they finished at the rear. At the same time LAGOON BEACH BOY and CYNTHIA BAXTER collided and CYNTHIA BAXTER shifted out and collided with GUY BAXTER and they both lost three lengths in the incident |
| Race 11 | Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305 | ASHBY ELLY was tightened between DADDY LOWE and GOT THE JUICE soon after the start and almost fell losing several lengths and all chance and she finished in last place. ASHBY ELLY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. DADDY LOWE checked off the heels of LIL LARRIKIN on the bend and lost four lengths and all chance. |
| Race 12 | Media Works C5 - C5 - 305 | The favourite FIRE HAWK began very awkwardly and settled at the rear and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. MAGICATE was also slow to begin but made up ground to be handy approaching the straight entrance where he ran very wide losing ground and finished 4th. |
