Track: Good Stewards walked the track prior to the meeting and were satisfied with the condition of the surface. The lure and boxes were also examined and found to be in good order.
Scales: Correct at 25kgs and 30kgs
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Lure driver Peter Knowles was spoken to regarding the distance of the lure from the lead dog during the meeting. Mr Knowles was shown the films by Stewards and reminded of Rule 75.1 which states that the lure shall be positioned 5 to 8 metres from the leading greyhound.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	ANOTHER BLEND was a slightly slow to jump. JAFFA GUN and ANOTHER KERRY bumped shortly after the start momentarily checking DADDYS MISTAKE. Racing into the first bend JAFFA GUN made contact with CAWBOURNE HARVEY resulting in JAFFA GUN losing momentum and checking ANOTHER KERRY, ANOTHER BLEND and ALWAYS A STORY. ANOTHER KERRY checked off the heels of DADDYS MISTAKE on the last bend.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C0 - 295	OHOKA SUMMER and HOMEBUSH SIENNA were boxed first. OHOKA SUMMER, HOMEBUSH SIENNA and ANOTHER WISH were slow to jump. Racing down the back straight SEA SPRAY TICH ran outwards colliding with HOMEBUSH IRIS who was checked onto APPRAISED and ANOTHER WISH. JIMMY CEE shifted down to the rail rounding the bend tightening OHOKA SUMMER momentarily. SEA SPRAY TICH again collided with HOMEBUSH IRIS entering the home straight. HUSKER DU raced wide rounding the bend.
Race 3	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	PIED WARRIOR went up with the lids and jumped awkwardly. ZED KAY MAN was also slow to begin. Racing down the back straight HOMEBUSH LIGNITE shifted down to the rail checking LIGHTNING PLAY and ZED KAY MAN shortly after. Racing into the first bend PIED WARRIOR which was racing at the rear checked off the heels of ZED KAY MAN and fell. ZED KAY MAN and LIGHTNING PLAY collided shortly after resulting in ZED KAY MAN also falling. LIGHTNING PLAY was checked badly as a result. ANOTHER REBEL and BELLA SIENNA collided entering the home straight resulting in BELLA SIENNA losing momentum. Stewards requested veterinary examinations of PIED WARRIOR and ZED KAY MAN which revealed no injury to PIED WARRIOR while ZED KAY MAN was suffering from a possible fracture to the right shoulder with a 28 day stand down imposed.
Race 4	Wizelee At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	UNDER COVER was slow to jump. TOKEN RAGE shifted out shortly after the start checking MORE MODEL and MERMAN JEWEL. SOSAN shifted down to the rail with a lap to race checking MY BLIND SIDE. WHAT A MATE and TOKEN RAGE collided when racing at the rear of the field approaching the first bend. UNDER COVER and MORE MODEL collided racing into the first bend resulting in MORE MODEL racing wider. WHAT A MATE and JET SPARK shifted ground rounding the final bend checking MY BLIND SIDE.
Race 5	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295	TRISTAR LUCK and MAN OH MAN were slow to jump. From the jump HOMEBUSH ANABEL ran inwards and struck HOMEBUSH SARINA with both dogs losing momentum.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	CHASIN CROWS stumbled shortly after the jump when being crossed by HOMEBUSH ZITA. FLUKY LUCY shifted out over the early stages while CHELSEAS BABE shifted down the track resulting in KIWARA TREY being checked. Shortly after CHELSEAS BABE continued to shift down to the rail causing JACKIE SHIRAZ to check off CHELSEAS BABE heels and collide with KIWARA TREY and FLUKY LUCY. Approaching the first bend FLUKY LUCY shifted down the track checking HOMEBUSH ZITA and CHASIN CROWS. JACKIE SHIRAZ shifted ground outwards on the first bend and made contact with KIWARA TREY. CHELSEAS BABE and OHOKA DUKE bumped rounding the first bend. FLUKY SUZY checked off the heels of JACKIE SHIRAZ entering the home straight.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C2 - 295	LIAM TITLE was very slow to jump. Racing down the back straight OPAWA BLACK shifted down the track causing DAUNTING to check off heels and bump KUNG FU TEDDY. DAUNTING and KUNG FU TEDDY again made contact racing into the first bend. DAUNTING shifted out sharply in the run home after KUNG FU TEDDY made contact with DAUNTING's hind legs.
Race 8	I Pave Concrete Stakes Final - C1f - 520	GEOFF THE REF was slightly slow to begin. KIT HAKA shifted out shortly after the jump checking DUKE OF FERN. Racing into the first bend GEOFF THE REF checked off the heels of KIT HAKA and shifted out making contact with the rear of CANDY HAKA resulting in CANDY HAKA falling. SERAPHINE JEWEL and DUKE OF FERN were checked and forced to race wider by the fallen CANDY HAKA. Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of CANDY HAKA which revealed a fractured right forearm and the dog was euthanased on welfare grounds.
Race 9	Yaldhurst Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	THATS COOL was slow to jump. APATCHIE SCOTT stumbled over the early stages and shifted out making contact with WAFFLER. ANOTHER BREEZE shifted down the track racing into the first bend checking ZOES KEY and HOMEBUSH KITTY. ALL AGAINST ME lost ground down the back straight and ran awkwardly rounding the bend finishing a distant last. Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of ALL AGAINST ME which revealed the dog to be suffering from a tear to the left hip support with a stand down of 14 days being imposed.
Race 10	Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH SAGE and TUI HOTLIPS were slow to jump.
Race 11	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1 - 520	CROSSFIRE MAX was slow to begin. DUDLEY RAMA and WALK DA TORQUE came together over the early stages checking OHOKA BELLA which was racing between both runners. CAWBOURNE DUSTY shifted ground inwards racing into the first bend checking MULBERRY ROSE which lost momentum and checked WALK DA TORQUE and CROSSFIRE MAX. LIFES GREAT and WALK DA TORQUE bumped on the home turn.
Race 12	Little Brown Jug Sprint - C3 - 295	ONE COOL CAT escaped handler Luke Phillips in the kennel block prior to the start after becoming agitated while the stir ups were being carried out before being captured at the bunny. Stewards ordered ONE COOL CAT to undergo a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race. Stewards questioned Mr Phillips regarding the incident and it was established that the buckle had broken on the collar of ONE COOL CAT enabling the dog to escape. After hearing from Mr Phillips Stewards accepted his explanation. ONE COOL CAT and BIGTIME FORCE bumped racing down the back straight. TIGER HOODS checked off ROMBERG LASS racing into the first bend resulting in TIGER HOODS checking RAISINS and GENISTA COMANCHE. TIGER HOODS checked off the heels of RAISINS rounding the bend forcing GENISTA COMANCHE to race wider. KNOW LIFE shifted out abruptly early in the run home colliding with TIGER HOODS.
Race 13	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA EYE and WAVE YA HAND bumped after the start. Shortly after WAVE YA HAND shifted down the track checking MOLLY PATRON. OPAWA EYE was checked when positioned between MOLLY PATRON and RONRAY CRUISER racing into the back straight.
Race 14	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	CAWBOURNE HELEN and LES HART came together shortly after the start. LES HART shifted down the track approaching the bend colliding with FLAT BATTERY and ELITE PALACE. CAWBOURNE HELEN was squeezed rounding the bend when racing between GENISTA TORNADO and OPAWA THORN losing momentum. Shortly after FLAT BATTERY raced on the heels of CAWBOURNE HELEN resulting in CAWBOURNE HELEN falling and FLAT BATTERY being checked out of the race. Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of CAWBOURNE HELEN which revealed no injuries.
Race 15	Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295	DONT FORGET JET was slow to begin. GOSS SAGE shifted ground inwards over the early stages colliding with SURFIN BIZAAR and KILKENNY.
