| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | CAWBOURNE FLICK jumped in from the start and checked HOMEBUSH SIENNA and CLUAIN MEALA and they settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH SIENNA recovered the best of the two and made up ground to finiish in 4th place. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 520 | ALANA HALL was slow to begin losing four lengths and she stayed back to finish at the rear. DOUBLE TAPP shifted in sharply from the start and made firm contact with SASSAFRAS who was not noticably affected in the incident but DOUBLE TAPP lost momentum for a couple of strides. MICK MANIA and DOUBLE TAPP bumped together and lost a little ground on the first corner. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | ZACCARA was presented 2 kilograms down in weight from its last start after having a change of Trainer. ZACCARA was slow to begin and then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in last place. BODHRAN CAILIN was tightened between LISSADELL JASPER and ANOTHER LADY on the first corner and lost two lengths. ANOTHER LADY was checked on the bend when a gap ahead closed and she lost three lengths. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 305 | CLANG AND BANG and CALM EXPPRESS were slow to begin and settled at the rear. THAT IS ALL checked off the heels of SAFFRON FLAHERTY on the first corner and they both lost a little ground. On the bend CALM EXPRESS shifted in and checked SAFFRON FLAHERTY who went back onto THAT IS ALL who in turn was galloped on by CLANG AND BANG. THAT IS ALL and CLANG AND BANG almost fell in the incident losing several lengths and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 5 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305 | REECE LIGHTNING shifted out from the start and CHASIN CROWS shifted in and this resulted in checks to ALAMEIN FATS and HOMEBUSH BERNIE and they lost ground and settled at the rear. REECE LIGHTNING who was one of the favourites showed early speed to be up with the leading two dogs on the first corner but was tightened between HOMEBUSH JONAH and TRICKY PAULA and lost two lengths. REECE LIGHTNING then drifted back and finished in last place and she was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | ANOTHER BREEZE shifted across sharply at the start and checked CANDY HAKA, KANGO KLINK and SOPHISTICATED who all lost ground. On the first corner, THRILLING ANNIE shifted out slightly and forced SOPHISTICATED, KANGO KLINK, CANDY HAKA and MR.MUTOLA wide into the bend and they all lost ground with the favourite KANGO KLINK being the most affected and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. KANGO KLINK appeared a little sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with hip muscle pain. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | JOLOKIA shifted in going to the first corner and tightened CRYSTAL SAL, TONYS PEDRO and ANOTHER BLEND for a few strides and TONYS PEDRO had to check and she lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. IMPULSE BUYER led until approaching the straight entrance where he ran wide and this possibly affected his chance of finishing in a closer placing than 3rd. JOLOKIA appeared sore following the race and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with quadricep pain. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C1 Ht 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | HAYVILLE PRINCE was checked on the first corner and went back to last. He stayed back throughout and his galloping action did not appear to be correct and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a spike wound over a hind toe. |
| Race 9 | Couper Catering C0/1 D - C1d - 645 | HOMEBUSH DIP and GLEN ABBEY MAL collided on the bend with just under a circuit to run and they both lost a little ground and they stayed back to finish near the rear. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 Ht 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 | THRILLING HALO shifted out on the first corner and collided with UPAHUT CINDY and fell heavily. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a tricep injury. UPAHUT CINDY lost several lengths in the incident and finished well back |
| Race 11 | Broad Roofing Services C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH NELSON and PETROL VOUCHER were both slow to begin and settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH NELSON recovered to finish in 3rd place but PETROL VOUCHER stayed back to finish in the rear group. The favourite WHERES SLOY galloped on the back of CAWBOURNE HARVEY on the first corner and they lost several lengths. WHERES SLOY and PETROL VOUCHER collided on the home turn when racing at the rear and both lost ground and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 12 | Media Works C1 - C1 - 305 | KELBY HAKA jumped in from the start and checked CAWBOURNE SMUDGE who lost ground and he settled at the rear and stayed back to finish in last place. KELBY HAKA shifted in on the first corner and caused tightening to the favourite PADDO SCORE and also FAWN ALLEGRO who both lost three lengths. PADDO SCORE then recovered to gain a clear rails run and finished a close 2nd but FAWN ALLEGRO stayed back to finish in 6th place. |
