Track: Good The track was very well presented but there was a slight issue with the sprint box lids being marginally slow to react when tripped in the opinion of the Stewards. The Curator will have the boxes thoroughly checked before the next meeting.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	YIFRASHEWA began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and he finished in last place. HOMEBUSH BERNIE was awkwardly placed between JAYVILLE FLYER and BRANCH LANE on the first corner and lost a little ground.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375	WAFFLER began well but then stumbled soon after losing several lengths but made up ground well to finish in 5th place. MISS FOLEY was a little slow to begin and was checked soon after when WHERE'S WALLY checked over the heels of ROTKARA JACKIE and shifted out and collided with MISS FOLEY. WHERE'S WALLY and MISS FOLEY then raced wide covering extra ground and they finished in the rear group.
Race 3	Woodville Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	RONAN MACHALL jumped in from the start and checked KEKESAURUS who then collided with PRINCE PARADE and they both lost ground and settled at the rear. CONOR MACHALL shifted out on the first corner and collided with JUST MAC who lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 4	Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375	EFF FIVE WARNING began awkwardly losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 5th place. HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in on the first corner and checked TEN FOUR who then shifted out and caused checks to SHEEZA MEESHA and EMMA MARIE and all three dogs lost ground and they finished in the last three places.
Race 5	Shannon Dash C2 - C2 - 375	IMPERATIVE shifted in going to the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH TAYLOR who fell . On the bend, MAGIC YOU was handy to the lead but was checked and fell when racing onto the heels of LOTTO FUN who also lost ground in the incident and soon after YALDHURST FLYER was also checked and fell when he clipped the heels of IMPERATIVE. All three dogs were examined by the Vet and MAGIC YOU was cleared of injury, YALDHURST FLYER was stood down for 10 days with pectoral, quadricep and gracilus injuries and HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was stood down for 7 days with bruising to an eye , thorax, abdomen and abrasions.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	BIRCHGROVE BILLY shifted in from the start and collided with MY BAD JONNY. BIRCHGROVE BILLY then had to check of the heels of MY GIRL COOKIE on the first corner and lost a little ground.
Race 7	Marton Dash C3 - C3 - 375	Two of the better supported runners CATCH A DREAM and ANOTHER DRIZZLE settled back in the field and they raced very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 8	Foxton Sprint C4 - C4 - 375	SEDGEBROOK ELITE jumped in from the start and checked FLAG WAVER and CAWBOURNE JADE who settled back in the field. One of the favourites ROYAL PARDON drew box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 9	Outback Trading Co Ltd Manawatu Cup C5 Ht 1 - C5q - 457 Heat 1	BIGTIME GEM jumped in from the start and checked BUDDY BROKE who lost ground but recovered well to finish in 2nd place. RYBENBROOK FLASH galloped on the heels of MICKER MORRIS on the first corner and MICKER MORRIS lost four lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. CAWBOURNE DUDE raced up in a handy position until approaching the straight entrance but then drifted back through the field and finished in last place. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with hip support and sartorius muscle injuries.
Race 10	Outback Trading Co Ltd Manawatu Cup C 5 Ht 2 - C5q - 457 Heat 2	I'M READY and DAN'S CONQUEST were slow to begin losing two lengths but they recovered well to finish in 3rd and 4th places. LOTTO BIFF shifted out going to the first corner and bumped DAN'S CONQUEST who lost a little momentum.
Race 11	www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375	SEMENYA shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to JENNINGS and MISSY OCTANE who both lost four lengths and went back to the rear. JENNINGS did make up some ground to finish in 5th place but MISSY OCTANE stayed back and finished last.
Race 12	Manawatu Raceway Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	WALK DA TORQUE shifted in from the start and bumped BONNIE BOUCHEA on two occasions and BONNIE BOUCHEA lost five lengths and all chance of a first four placing but she did make up ground to finish in 5th place.
