THRILLING JAFFA shifted in on the first turn and caused checks to THRILLING KITE, LACHLAN VALLEY and MS TOURNAMENTAL . Soon after ELLYS GIRL made firm contact with the rail losing ground and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a calf injury. |
| Race 2 | July Maiden Series Heat 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | EXCITING GIRL was slow to begin losing two lengths and she then raced up inside TOP CAT and KARLA LEWINSKY and they jostled together for a few strides and all three dogs lost ground. Entering the home straight, WALTON GRACE shifted out and made contact with BON VOGUE but they recovered quickly and BON VOGUE finished in 3rd place. |

WHATA LADY shifted out on the first corner onto MS WILKINSON who was forced a little wide and EDWARD CULLEN then checked off the back of MS WILKINSON and they both lost several lengths and all chance and finished in the last two places. |
