Into the bend DAIMLER DAVE was checked as dogs crossed from his outside with CURRAHEE and RED TIGER losing their chances in behind. WILLY MINA checked outwards off BLACK TRIGGER on the home turn losing momentum. |
| Race 2 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | BELFAST CHUKKA was last to jump. TIE MY TIE and BELFAST CHUKKA came together on the turn with TIE MY TIE losing ground. WATCH DUTCH GAYE ran wide on the home turn. |

| Race 4 | Speedprint Shop Sprint - C1 - 310 | LADY PARKA was slow to jump while wider out JACKIE SHIRAZ and OZARKS MASK came together for stride. In the run to the bend OZARKS MASK checked off the back of SECRET FORTUNE with LADY PARKA receiving trouble in behind. |
| Race 5 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C2 - 310 | MR. CAMEROON was slow from his outside box. REDLINE CHAOS ran inwards in the back straight tightening GLENMORE LASS and JOHNNIE GEORGE for a short distance. As a result TOWER and THUNDA THIGHS who were racing in behind these runners were badly checked with THUNDA THIGHS appearing to make contact with the rail. A post race veterinary check of THUNDA THIGHS revealed no injury. |
| Race 6 | Herbert Family Stakes - C1 - 545 | SLIGHTLY AMAZING was last to jump. Soon after the start GEOFF THE REF and TEDDY NOVA came together for a stride with DUKE OF FERN being checked in between them and dropping to the rear. On the first bend GEOFF THE REF ran outwards slightly with MORNING WATCH receiving a check and DUKE OF FERN again receiving some backwash. The favourite GEOFF THE REF was held up for room until the home turn running on strongly for second when clear. |
| Race 7 | St Kilda Tavern Sprint - C3 - 310 | This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. LILETTE BALE was slowest to jump. HOMEBUSH JAG was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. SORRENTO SUN faltered on the home turn and dropped out with a post race veterinary check revealing both rear hocks being broken with the dog being euthanised on humane grounds |
| Race 8 | Green Island Barber Stakes - C3/4 - 545 | Permission was given to box JAG YOU ARE first as this dog has been difficult to box in its previous starts. JAG YOU ARE and SUPERIOR RANK were last to jump. An improving JAG YOU ARE ran outwards into the first bend pushing the favourite WINSOME BUCKS and SUPERIOR RANK wider with these two runners losing ground and not recovering. |
| Race 9 | Neville Gordon Memorial Trophy - INV - 545 | TORQUED UP ran outwards in the early stages and contacted STARBURST SUZIE for a stride. |
| Race 10 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C5 - 310 | PURE AND SPECIAL and SIX TO MIDNIGHT were slow to jump. PURE AND SPECIAL made ground well for fourth. |
| Race 11 | Herbert Family Sprint - C4 - 310 | WATERHOUSE, AKON STAR and LIAM BALE were all tardy to begin. AKON STAR ran outwards for a stride on the bend coming into contact with BRUNO. |
| Race 12 | Racing Again Tuesday 19th July Sprint - C5 - 310 | KNOW NEED and WICHITA LINEMAN were slow to jump. CHEETAH WOODS ran outwards soon after the jump contacting WHERES ROBYN for a stride. PURE CHEMISTRY ran very wide on the bend losing ground in his first start on the track with CREPE MYRTLE also being pushed wide as a result. |
