Judicial report: TOP CAT (G Calverley), KARLA LEWINSKY (B Littlejohn) and COLLISION RISK (S Clark) all completed satisfactory trials under Rule 81. TOP CAT trialled in blinkers and under Rule 68.22 is required to wear them in future races.

Race 1	Auckland Vending Sprint - C2/3 - 318	HONG KONG LOUIE ran outwards slightly in the back straight inconveniencing AUSTIN WILD for a stride. Into the bend MISS ARKANSAS angled off the rail and in doing so checked MATILDA'S BEST, FANCY MILLY and FIVE KAY KAT with these runners being forced over extra ground.
Race 2	Goodsey Stakes - C0 - 527	The favourite THRILLING SOUND ran inwards at the jump and came together with EDWARD CULLEN with both dogs losing ground. SAND BUSTER ran outwards in the early stages causing a check to BEING FRANK. Into the bend MS WILKINSON was checked as SAND BUSTER crossed to the rail with CHERRY TREE LANE and EDWARD CULLEN having to take evasive action.At the end of the back straight SAND BUSTER ran outwards pushing BEING FRANK wider and into the path of HOT POOTIE with BEING FRANK dropping back through the field as a result. This left a gap for THRILLING SOUND to get through but HOT POOTIE crossed to the rail and THRILLING SOUND ran out of room and was checked. THRILLING SOUND ran on again for fifth. As a result of the litany of checks in the race MS WILKINSON and BEING FRANK were both sent for post race veterinary checks. BEING FRANK was found to have split his webbing with a fourteen day stand down recommended. MS WILKINSON was cleared of any injury.
Race 3	Johnny Midnight Sprint - C2 - 318	GEMZ was the last to jump. FLYING FLYNN ran inwards in the early stages tightening CAWBOURNE BEAR and PARADISE CITY who were relegated to the rear. Into the bend ELLY'S GIRL ran outwards checking WORLD CUP MISS who lost ground. PARADISE CITY again found strife soon after as CAWBOURNE BEAR angled outwards into her path. ELLY'S GIRL was held up for room on the home turn battling well for third when clear.
Race 4	Carols TABS Sprint - C1 - 318	TRIPLEM HAND and ALLBLACK ENFORCE came together soon after the jump. Wider out LOCKLINNE ran inwards checking BIT OF VISION and ASK SIX for a few strides. Into the bend TRIPLEM HAND and BIT OF VISION came together when racing towards the rear. ALLBLACK ENFORCE dropped out in the middle stages of the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no ascertainable injury. Trainer Denis Schofield agreed to inform Stewards of any injury that may come to light in the coming days and indicated that the dog would most likely be spelled.
Race 5	Misty Anna Trophy Series Final - R/Af - 527	ELEPHUNK ran outwards in the early stages causing tightening to BEATRIX KIDDO, MISSING MELODY and SPLENDOUROUS.
Race 6	Radio Star Sprint - C5 - 318	TRIPLE TEE was troublesome when boxing prior to this event. GO TO CROW, CHEVERTON and ART DECO were all tardily away and remained well back throughout.
Race 7	Terminating $25,000 Pick6 - C4 - 318	ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and WILLEE WINDSOR were the last to jump. WILLEE WINDSOR checked outwards off THRILLING LEE into the bend inconveniencing BEAR CUB on his outside.
Race 8	Magic Sprite Sprint - C5 - 318	The favourite MY JACK ATTACK and his sister DOLLY SCRAMBLE were both slow to jump. CAWBOURNE STARS and KERRIE'S FANTASY were both tightened into the bend losing ground with DOLLY SCRAMBLE unable to avoid this pair and losing ground when checking wide as a result. MY JACK ATTACK was found to have split webbing following the race with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Journey Park Stud Stakes - C1/2 - 527	JUBILEE LINE never appeared to be travelling comfortably throughout the race and finished a distant last with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn triceps muscle with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 10	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series Heat - C0d - 603	ASCENDING FORCE, BIGTIME COWELL and SMASH BANG WIN were the slowest to jump with these three runners coming together into the first bend and remaining rearward throughout.
Race 11	Auckland Co-opTaxis Series Final - C5f - 318	ROLLED OATS was difficult to box in this event. NATURAL JOURNEY and AIN'T NO SAINT were the last to jump. THRILLING RUST, TALIESIN BLUE and ROLLED OATS came together in the early stages.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	LADY LAHKSMI weighed in 1.8kgs under her last race weight in March with Trainer Michelle Mann confirming that a weight reduction for the dog was planned. CYCLONE HOOLEY was difficult to box and after consultation with Trainer Craig Symes it was agreed that this dog be box first in its immediate starts. HOMEBUSH TUI and MELODY'S MUSE were last to jump. MY DIANE ran inwards in the run down the back straight with LADY LAHKSMI, JOLOKIA and SHOWTIME ADDIS all being inconvenienced and losing ground.
