| Race 1 | ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 457 | ALS BEST MATE and CAWBOURNE FLIPPA came together on a couple of occasions in the run down the back straight. OZARKS CROWN ran outwards soon after checking SECRET NICOLE who lost ground with PHARLEY losing ground in behind these runners. LILY JEWEL ran wide on the home bend and lost some ground. In the run home SECRET NICOLE and PHARLEY came together with SECRET NICOLE being turned sideways losing momentum. OZARKS CROWN was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed triceps muscle pain with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C2 - 390 | VAMPIRES SHADOW and THUNDA THIGHS collided for a stride soon after the jump. Into the bend ELOUERA BABE checked outwards off SHARI JEWEL and lost a few lengths. Trainer Malcolm Grant was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner SURFIN BAZAAR. He informed Stewards that the dog was badly checked at its last start and todays downgrade was a factor in its win. |
| Race 3 | www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390 | YAPSTER JEWEL was last to jump. SLIGHTLY AMAZING ran wide on the home turn losing some ground but once balanced in the run home made ground well for fourth. |
| Race 4 | BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C1 - 457 | LAGER IN PARIS proved difficult to load. GEOFF THE REF was very slow to begin. GEOFF THE REF also checked off RED TIGER when improving on the bend. LAGER IN PARIS and WALK DA TORQUE came together for a stride in the back straight. After consultation with trainer Malcolm Grant it was decided to box LAGER IN PARIS first in its upcoming starts at this track. |
| Race 5 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C3 - 390 | HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN cannoned into HOMEBUSH LENNY soon after the jump and lost ground. DONT FORGET JET dragged BRASSED OFF down from behind on the bend with both dogs losing ground. A post race veterinary check of BRASSED OFF revealed no injury. CAWBOURNE SHOT ran very wide on the home turn. |
| Race 6 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C4/5 - 390 | WICHITA LINEMAN was slow to jump. PURE AND SPECIAL and STARBURST STUMPY came together for a stride soon after the jump. Into the bend ULTIMATE SPICE ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH JAG and WICHITA LINEMAN with these runners losing ground. HOMEBUSH JAG was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed slight pain on right wrist flexion with a five day stand down recommended. BLACK PAN ran wide into the home straight losing ground but made good ground in the run home to finish third. At the lure WICHITA LINEMAN was trampled by other runners and was checked as a precaution with no injury detected. |
| Race 7 | 100% SELECTRIX - C1 - 390 | SHEZA COOL ONE ran inwards soon after the jump tightening FIERY FLOWER and CULVIE CORGI. CULVIE CORGI then ran outwards into the bend checking FIERY FLOWER and BLACK TRIGGER. SING CILLA BLACK ran wide throughout and lost ground. |
| Race 8 | $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C4 - 390 | STAGS INGILL leapt in the air as the boxes opened and lost ground. BRUNO and WATERHOUSE came together on the home turn wide on the track. FAST TEDDY ran wide on the home turn losing ground. |
| Race 9 | SGRC BOUNCE B POWDER - C2 - 457 | REAL SLIM SHADY was awkwardly away and CROSSFIRE MAX lost ground soon after the start. Into the bend REAL SLIM SHADY and HOMEBUSH FRASER came together for a stride and soon after REAL SLIM SHADY ran outwards contacting KINGSTON FLYER and lost a length. |

The favourite KNOW NEED was awkwardly away and then badly tightened in between GENTLE HAND and GOSS SAGE losing ground. GOSS SAGE then ran inwards checking ZITA GRACE and GENTLE HAND. ZITA GRACE and GENTLE HAND came together just prior to the home turn. |
| Race 11 | $25 YARD MUZZLE STAKES - C4/5 - 390 | SIX TO MIDNIGHT was slow to jump. LIFE WITH DEXTER was tightened in the back straight and ran outwards with LIFE WITH DEXTER coming into contact with him and losing ground. Soon after LES BAXTER was tightened into the bend and lost his position. |
| Race 12 | justracing.com.au - C4/5 - 390 | CHEETAH WOODS ran inwards in the early stages crowding SISSI and WHERES ROBYN with COVELLE and ICE ICE AMY also losing ground as a result. SISSI then received a check when contacting BOTANY KELLY. Into the bend SISSI clipped the heels of WHERES ROBYN and fell. SISSI regained her feet and completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
