| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | RONAN MACHALL, BREAKING MELODY, KEKESAURUS, PRINCE PARADE and CONOR MACHALL all jostled to gether soon after the start and lost varying amounts of ground with CONOR MACHALL and KEKESAURUS being the most affected. BELFAST KING and SHERMAN FLYER bumped together on the bend and SHERMAN FLYER lost two lengths but recovered to go on and win the race. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375 | WHERE'S WALLY and HOMEBUSH ALEX raced wide on the track covering extra ground and then collided on the home turn and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 3 | Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | The favourite SOPHISTICATED drew box 1 and had every opportunity but failed to perform and finished last. It was observed that the dogs recent form had not been good but the betting public had obviously been influenced by the dogs excellent box 1 statistics. |
| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photo's C2 - C2 - 375 | IGNITE THE LIGHT and COOL ROYALE were slow to begin but they recovered well to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. IGNITE THE LIGHT and JUST TOM collided on the home turn and JUST TOM suffered the most and he lost three lengths and finished 5th with IGNITE THE LIGHT recovering to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 5 | Cloverlea Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | The favourite WITCHILICIOUS was very slow to begin losing five lengths but she then secured a clear rails run and finished very well for 2nd placing. HOMEBUSH JODIE was awkwardly placed between FLOATING AWAY and CAWBOURNE DRAG on the first corner and lost a length. |
| Race 6 | Woodville Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | SHARKIE'S DREAM was slow to begin losing three lengths but recovered to finish in 2nd place. MICKEY MACHALL shifted in on the first corner and checked itself and also GO BOOF and CHAINSAW PETE and they lost several lengths and all chance. CHAINSAW PETE recovered best of the three and he finished in 4th place. |
| Race 7 | Shannon Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | This race started two minutes late at the request of T.A.B control. TWENTY SIXTY got a foot caught in the muzzle of another runner at the lure and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with lacerations, bruising and abrasions. |
| Race 8 | Turakina Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | SEMENYA was checked back to last soon after the start but then secured a clear rails run and went on to win the race. DADDY LOWE was checked and lost two lengths on the first corner but recovered to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE WHIZ was checked on the first corner and shifted out forcing CONFISCATED and LIL'LARRIKIN wide going into the bend. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Raceway Stakes C3 - C3 - 457 | BUDDY BROKE was one of the slowest to begin and he was then checked on the first corner losing several lengths and he tailed the field from there to the finish. |
| Race 10 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375 | CAWBOURNE JOSE was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. FLASH ENFORCER was checked back to the rear near the first corner and soon after LITTLE BLACKSPOT and PRINCESS SNOWY were also checked and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 11 | Marton Stakes C3/4 - C3/4 - 457 | KILMAINHAM CHILL was slow to begin losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing. RYBENBROOK FLASH shifted in racing to the first corner and buffetted SITE AN EXCUSE for several strides and he was eventually checked losing several lengths and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 12 | Levin Stakes C5 - C5 - 457 | The favourite I'M READY was slow to begin and he was then checked on the first corner when making up ground and lost five lengths. I'M READY was again making up ground on the home turn but clipped the heels of ERIC PHOENIX and fell and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a spike wounnd and bruising to the dorsal area. |
