DUBLIN BAY was midfield on the bend but then drifted back and finished several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and cleared of injuury. |

CHASIN CROWS checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH JEM on the first corner and lost a little ground. BOTANY STORY shifted out on the home turn and made contact with the hind quarters of HOMEBUSH JEM who lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 7 | Mickeys Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 520 | MR MUTOLA began awkwardly losing ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place. KIT HAKA shifted in soon after the start and pushed ERICS SONG in onto HANDBRAKE HARRY who lost ground and settled at the rear and he stayed there to the finish. |

| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services C2 - C2 - 305 | CAWBOURNE DRAG and ANOTHER DRIZZLE were checked back to the rear on the first corner when runners drawn further out shifted in on the first corner. CAWBOURNE DRAG made up ground to finish in 4th place but ANOTHER DRIZZLE stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C2 - C2 - 520 | ANOTHER BREEZE shifted in sharply from box 7 and crowded several runners with HOMEBUSH FRASER being the most affected and he lost four lengths in the incident and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 11 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | PETROL VOUCHER and TIZA FEVER bumped together on the first corner and they lost three lengths. PETROL VOUCHER recovered to make up ground for 5th place but TIZA FEVER stayed back to finish last. |
| Race 12 | Gary Ross Decorator C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | The hot favourite FLAG WAVER was one of the slowest to begin and she was checked back to the rear on the first corner when TERROR JIM who had been handy, appeared to suffer an injury and dropped back quickly and finished in last place. HAYLEYS WISH who had also been handy on the first corner was checked and dropped back onto THRILLING SIMONE and FLAG WAVER who was following received another severe check and she fiinished in 2nd last place. TERROR JIM was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a tricep injury. |
