| Race 1 | ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 457 | LILY JEWEL, LEOS GIRL and TOTALLY CONFUSED came together after the jump with LEOS GIRL losing ground. In the run to the bend EMERGE ran inwards colliding with TOTALLY CONFUSED who was checked before EMERGE continued her inward movement colliding with LILY JEWEL which resulted in EMERGE falling. LILY JEWEL was badly checked coming back on LEOS GIRL and TOTALLY CONFUSED. Both BLACK OZARK and JIMMY CEE on LILY JEWELS inner were also inconvenienced from the incident. EMERGE failed to complete the race and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed pain to the left foreleg and wrist with a 7 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C2 - 457 | CROSSFIRE MAX and MOLLY PARTON were slow to jump. Into the bend MOLLY PARTON checked out off the hindquarters on PRETTY GIRL. Into the home straight MOLLY PARTON ran out colliding with MIGHTY PROPHET. |
| Race 3 | www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390 | THRILLING HALLE asnd TEDDY NOVA were slow to jump. THRILLING PEACH ran in after he jump checking ROYAL RODNEY and did so again into the bend. Into the home straight ROYAL RODNEY ran wide forcing TEDDY NOVA to the outside edge of the track before ROYAL RODNEY ran out off the sand surface. He continued to impede TEDDY NOVA down the home straight. ROYAL RODNEY was subject to a veterinary check which revealed pain on full extension of right fore shoulder and triceps muscle with a seven day stand down recommended.. Stewards reviewed the race film with Trainer B BURKE who said that the dog had a habit of racing wide. Stewards deemed the performance of ROYAL RODNEY to be unsatisfactory in terms of Rule 81 with a Satisfactory Trial ordered. |

| Race 5 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C2 - 390 | HOMEBUSH KALAMA ran in after the jump onto WILY BOLT before continuing to run inwards tightening COT CASE CUTIE and TOWER. Into the bend VAMPIRES SHADOW moved outwards tightening KINGA COOP, WILLY BOLT and MALROY. |
| Race 6 | WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C1 - 457 | JET SPARK ran in onto HONKING HORNS soon after the jump. MR. MEADE drifted to the rear in the run to the bend. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C4/5 - 457 | MAMAJA was very slow to jump. SUGAR PLUM, BADJA BALE and KING OF CLUBS came together soon after the jump. BADJA BALE and KING OF CLUBS came together in the run to the bend with KING OF CLUBS losing ground. BADJA BALE strode out awkwardly into the bend with MOST HAUNTED and LETS DEBATE being held up for a number of strides. |
| Race 8 | SGRC BOUNCE B POWDER - C3 - 390 | In the run to the bend WILLYS PRIDE moved outwards coming in contact with DONT FORGET JET. Soon after LA PYTHON was tightened by BRUNO on his outer. Into the bend SURFIN BIZAAR ran inwards colliding with the hindquarters of DONT FORGET ME which resulted in both being turned sideways before SURFIN BIZAAR was struck by REAL SLIM SHADY and REDLINE CHAOS. |
