ON MY MIND began well enough but began to drift in the run to the first corner and finished several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a gracilus muscle injury. |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 520 | One of the favourites EXCUSE A VISION was handy on the first corner but was checked when bumping with EMMA MARIE on its inside and MELODYS MUSE who shifted in from the outside and EXCUSE A VISION went back to the rear and stayed back to finiish in 2nd last place. NIGEL THE LEGIN was slow to begin losing four lengths. |

| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C3/4 - C3/4 - 520 | BLACK SHELLEEN went off stride soon after the start and he drifted off the back of the field and finished some distance behind the 2nd last runner. He was examined by the Vet and found to have suffered from cramp in both hind limbs and a 5 day stand down was imposed. BOTANY MATTHEW began awkwardly losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. KILMAINHAM CHILL ran into the back of STATELY BABE on the first bend losing several lengths but he also made up ground to finish in 5th place. |
| Race 6 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3 - C3 - 305 | MISTER WHISKER shifted in at the start after jumping from box 8 and this resulted in jostling between MISTER WHISKER, LOW AND HIGHS and CAWBOURNE MO with all three dogs losing ground and they finished in the rear group. SEDGEBROOK LEE brushed against the rail on the first corner and lost ground. |

CHINESE GIRL shifted in from the start and PRINCESS SNOWY shifted out and this resulted in checks to CRYSTAL KATIE and HOMEBUSH DIGBY who both lost ground. |

OPAWA GEM led on the first corner and shifted in checking JUST DEFY THAT who went back and out forcing KAZZ RAZZ and FREDDY JOHN very wide on the first bend and all three dogs lost several lengths and all chance. |

ASHBY ELLY continued to shift in and checked CAWBOURNE JADE who also lost ground and stayed back to finish in last place. The favourite FIRE HAWK drew box 8 and he was checked on the first corner when making contact with the hind quarters of ROYAL PARDON and FIRE HAWK dropped back causing a check to ASHBY ELLY who also lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete Services C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | RYBENBROOK JOSH shifted in on the first corner and inconvenienced GUY BAXTER who lost a little ground. NIP TUCK shifted out on the first bend and collided with OPAWA SECRET with both dogs losing several lengths and all chance and they finished at the rear. |

IMA SPICE was checked and fell on the first corner and RIPPED JEANS was hindered by the fallen dog and lost a little ground. Soon after, HOMEBUSH JUST appeared to lose its footing behind and he also fell. IMA SPICE and HOMEBUSH JUST were examined by the Vet and both were stood down for 5 days with grazing and bruising. |
| Race 12 | Media Works C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | MINDARIVA and HOMEBUSH DUSTY were slow to begin with the favourite MINDARIVA being last on settling. He then raced onto the heels of TWENTY SIXTY in the back straight and checked over the heels of SALLY SAY SO on the bend and lost ground on both occasions. KERRIES FANTASY was pushed wide in the incident on the bend and finished in 2nd last place. FAST PAUSE went off stride on the first corner and drifted out to finish several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a thigh muscle injury. |
