| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | HOMEBUSH SARGE ran in sharply from the start and checked WHY NOT who settled at the rear. WHY NOT then shifted in running to the first corner and baulked at the rail losing further ground and she finished last. INTENSE ZOOM shifted out and collided with IN OR OUT in the back straight and both dogs lost ground but then recovered to finish in 1st and 2nd places. ANOTHER LADY and BUZZ OVER led on the bend but then collided and BUZZ OVER lost several lengths and finished near the rear. WHY NOT was stood down for 14 days with pain in both wrists. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 520 | MICKEY MACHALL, BIT OR SOME and MICK MANIA came together and bumped soon after the start. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | SPARTACUS and ELLAVA SCRAP were slow to begin losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. NELLY FLAHERTY and HOMEBUSH JEM jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and NELLY FLAHERTY was eventually checked and lost two lengths. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 520 | PICK A PEPPER went up with the box lids and settled in last place. HOMEBUSH NORMAN shifted in soon after and PICK A PEPPER galloped on its heels and both lost a little ground. JUST MAC shifted in with a circuit to run and collided with HOMEBUSH NORMAN and checked. HOMEBUSH NORMAN then shifted out slightly and JUST MAC lost ground but recovered to run on well for 3rd placing. HOMEBUSH NORMAN dropped out to finish several lengths last, was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 5 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305 | COUGH IT UP was jostled by FLYING FLYNN at the start and he went back to last and stayed back throughout. ANOTHER GON was awkwardly placed between runners on the first corner and lost ground. Several strides further on he checked off the heels of FLYING FLYNN losing three lengths and finished in last place. FLYING FLYNN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a split webbing on a hind foot. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520 | NIGEL THE LEGIN was slow to begin losing four lengths. EXCUSE A VISION and RAMESSEE were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear. NIGEL THE LEGIN galloped on the back of KIT HAKA on the first bend and RAMESSEE and EXCUSE A VISION suffered checks in the incident with all four dogs losing ground and all chance. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | ANOTHER MATE shifted in from the start and caused checks to itself and also HOMEBUSH NELSON and WONDER WORKING. LANSVALE SPARK and WONDER WORKING jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and OH EMM EYE shifted out soon after and caused checks to itself and also LANSVALE SPARK and WONDER WORKING and they lost several lengths and finished in the last three places. |
| Race 8 | Media Works C0/1D - C1d - 645 | SHARKIES DREAM was a little slow to begin but recovered quickly. SITE AN EXCUSE was checked soon after the start and lost three lengths. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services C1 - C1 - 305 | ANOTHER STREET , HOMEBUSH CINDY and GINA MAC were all handy enough on the first turn but were checked losing several lengths and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | REGAL DANCER shifted in on the first corner after starting from box 8 and this resulted in a check to MUM KNOWS JACK who lost ground. REGAL DANCER continued to shift in and checked BEING FREE who went back and out going into the first bend and caused checks to MUM KNOWS JACK, HOMEBUSH BERRY and JIMMY HAKA and all four dogs lost several lengths and they finished in the last four places. SMASH BANG WIN shifted in going into the back straight and checked CHAINSAW PETE who lost four lengths in the incident. The winner SHADOWS MATE was sent for a swab sample which was attempted in the prescence of a Stipendiary Steward but failed to void. |
| Race 11 | Wanganui Security C2 - C2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout to finish in 2nd last place. PARRA SPARRA checked off the heels of PENIES FROM starting on the bend and he then ran wide from there covering extra ground. |
| Race 12 | Gary Ross Decorator C1Feature - C1 - 305 | THRILLING IRIS and SHADES were slow to begin and settled at the rear. THRILLING IRIS then drifted off the back of the field and finished several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a hind leg muscle tear. |
