DONNA BAXTER moved inwards into the bend colliding with PAREORA DOLL and losing her footing, coming back on LES BAXTER who was checked. Around the bend LES BAXTER came in contact with CAWBOURNE SHOT. |

Around the first bend CAWBOURNE JAKE and ITS NOT EASY came together losing ground. ANOTHER DOLLAR checked out off the heels of BOTANY FREDA approaching the home straight. In the home straight ITS NOT EASY checked out off the heels of BOTANY FREDA. |
| Race 4 | N.Z. Racing Series Sprint - NZRSq - 295 Heat 1 | AINT THAT COOL was slow to jump. Into the bend HOMEBUSH REECE moved down to the rail tightening BIGTIME SLAMMER and KNOW QUESTION. HOMEBUSH REECE was vetted following the race and found to have a small left fore laceration which required sutures with a 7 day stand down recommended. |

JUST BEATRICE ran out into the bend colliding with BUSINESS TIME before moving out onto LINDSAY CLEEVE and KNOW NEED. Into the home straight BUSINESS TIME tightened EL KILDA who checked outwards as a result. |
| Race 6 | N.Z. Racing Series Sprint - NZRSq - 295 Heat 3 | DA BOSS was slow to begin .Into the first bend DA BOSS and MISSYS DAUGHTER made contact with MISSYS DAUGHTER being checked. BIGTIME SURVIVOR shifted outwards off the heels of KNOW JOY at the turn forcing BOTANY KELLY wide and losing momentum. On the finish line the winner SAFE AND SECURE appeared to ease. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. Stewards reviewed the race film in the presence of trainer BC DANN and it was inconclusive whether SAFE AND SECURE had eased prior to the finish line or after crossing it. SAFE AND SECURE was given the benefit of the doubt in this instance. |

AWESOME BENDER checked out off the heels of OPAWA PATTY into the back straight. Turning into the home straight SUGAR PLUM was badly checked when squeezed between AWESOME BENDER and MAINLAND STAR as they improved. |
| Race 10 | Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295 | UNO JAG was slow to jump and quickly improved along the rail into the bend checking STARBURST STUMPY. UNO JAG and CAWBOURNE LORNA came together soon after and again into the home straight with both losing momentum. |
| Race 11 | David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | Into the first bend SHUNT APPEAL ran outwards making contact with CROSS TO DAPTO and ZITA GRACE which lost ground . Around the bend and into the back straight SHUNT APPEAL and CROSS TO DAPTO came together again with CROSS TO DAPTO moving outwards tightening GENTLE HAND which fell heavily.GENTLE HAND regained her feet and finished the race with a veterinary check revealing nothing amiss. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295 | CAWBOURNE SCAREY ran inwards at the start hampering MOJAVE MICK ,REAL CLEAVER and POWERFAST PIPPA. Into the bend KNOW HELP improved onto the heels of SPEEDY LEESHELLE which lost momemtun. |
