Judicial report: Trainer L.Ahern through her representative B.Cole admitted a breach of Rule 64.1 in that she failed to scratch I'M NO VEGAN an entrant in race 10 by the required time. Under the minor infringement table, L.Ahern was fined $ 150-00 under Rule 88.1 o. Following race 6 the photo finish operator became unwell was not able to continue to operate the equipment. A replacement operator was able to take over but the times for the next three race were hand timed until the original operator returned.

Race 1	B & P Engineering - Upper Hutt C0 - C0 - 520	SHERMAN FLYER, FOR A PENNY and CHAINSAW PETE were all slow to begin and settled at the rear. CHAINSAW PETE recovered to finish in 3rd place but the other two stayed back to finish in the rear group. BELFAST NODDIE led by a good margin until the final bend where the dog began to lose ground and continued to drift and finished in 2nd last place. BELFAST NODDIE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a torn pectoral muscle.
Race 2	Anglo Upholsterers Ltd C3 - C3 - 520	THRILLING ALI was checked on the first corner and he went back and out causing checks to HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and THRILLING LEWIS and they finished in the last three places.
Race 3	Thornton Auctions - Penrose C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	HOMEBUSH KELLY shifted out from the rail on the first corner and checked ASH VEGAS who went from a handy position back onto THRILLING LYRIC with both dogs losng several lengths and all chance of a dividend placing.
Race 4	"Opawa Racing Ltd" C1 Final - C1f - 305	BRUTUS FINALE shifted in going to the first corner and this resulted in checks to itself and also OH LORDY and AMBLE UP with all three losing ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 5	Glove Craft - Upper Hutt C3 - C3 - 305	ROMBERG LASS shifted in on the first corner and checked MIRAGE ROYALE and ROMBERG LASS continued to move in and a few strides further on, CAWBOURNE DRAG was checked losing ground. MAJOR HIT shifted out sharply on the home turn and collided with MIRAGE ROYALE and they finished in the last two places.
Race 6	Westview Aluminium - Upper Hutt C1 - C1 - 520	NIGEL THE LEGIN was slow to begin and settled in last place. GO BOOF shifted in entering the back straight and checked HOMEBUSH DIP and GROOVY SHANE and they went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 7	" The Brownzy Sports Bar - North Shore " NZ Futurity Consolation - R/A - 520	KAZZ RAZZ shifted in from the start and caused a slight check to the favourite THRILLING BRAT who then ran wide on both bends covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place. RUN RILEY RUN also ran wide on the first bend losing ground and finished in last place.
Race 8	"The Brownzy Sports Bar-North Shore" NZ Futurity Final (Gp 2) - R/Af - 520	This race was started 2 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. SAM I AM galloped on the back of SPLENDOUROUS on the first corner and both dogs lost four lengths. THRILLING BOSS shifted in on the first bend and checked RYBENBROOK JOSH who lost three lengths. Several strides further on ILLEGAL ALIEN and THRILLING BOSS came together and both lost ground. ILLEGAL ALIEN and THRILLING BOSS again bumped together approaching the home straight and they lost further ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 9	"Cafe Cibo" Premier Sprint Final C5 - C5f - 305	MATES UNITE shifted out going to the first corner and this resulted in jostling and checks to BERELLA CHELSEA, BILLY WHIZ, SEMENYA and RIPPED JEANS who all lost ground. MATES UNITE was checked on the bend as IMA SPICE moved through on the inside and MATES UNITE went back through the field checking RIPPED JEANS and they finished at the rear.
Race 10	Blair " Shodsie" Wederell C2 - C2 - 520	JOE BANNER and ASK PLEASE collided on the first corner and ASK PLEASE lost three lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in last place.
Race 11	"Scott No Wives @ Stud" C5 - C5 - 305	The start of this race was 3 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. The race was all clear.
Race 12	"Gold Band Finance" C4 - C4 - 305	STATELY BABE was slow to begin losing three lengths and she was then checked on the first corner when CAWBOURNE JADE shifted in and she stayed back to finish at the rear. HOMEBUSH DUSTY was checked on the bend and lost three lengths. LIL LARRIKIN shifted out off the heels of SEDGEBROOK ELITE approaching the home turn and forced PRINCESS SNOWY very wide over extra ground.
