Judicial report: A charge was preferred against MISS SNOW ANGEL under Rule 80.1 b following race 7 and it was alleged that the dog had failed to pursue the lure throughout the race and that MISS SNOW ANGEL had eased and lost several lengths on the first bend. The dog was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon on duty anf no injury was detected and the Trainer Mrs M.Goodwin elected to defend the charge and was accompanied by Trainer Mr W.Goodwin. After hearing evidence fron the Steward in Charge and submissions from Mrs Goodwin, the charge was proven and MISS SNOW ANGEL was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory Trial before its next start.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	PRINCE PARADE shifted in going towards the first corner and checked CALM EXPRESS who lost three lengths. ANOTHER BLEND shifted in on the first corner and caused a check to ANITA WIN who went back and out and forced SAFFRON FLAHERTY and PRINCE PARADE to run wide going into the bend and they lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER CO - C0 - 520	This race was started 3 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. JUST MAC shifted in on the first corner and caused checks to NELLY FLAHERTY, MELODYS MUSE who fell and HOMEBUSH ALEX who almost fell and lost all chance. MELODYS MUSE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0 - 305	The race was started 2 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. INTENSE ZOOM was slow to begin losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH EDDIE checked off the heels of KANGO KLINK and lost ground on the first corner. HOMEBUSH EDDIE then checked over the heels of SAMMY RUBY on the bend and shifted out causing checks to INTENSE ZOOM and RUSTY SAM who were forced wide covering extra ground and they finished in the rear group.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 305	EMMA MARIE was midfield on the first corner but was checked back to last and she then recovered to secure a clear rails run and finished in 2nd place. FAWN ALLEGRO ran very wide into the home straight covering extra ground and finished in last place. HOMEBUSH BONITA pulled up awkwardly at the lure suffering an injury and she was carried back, examined by the Vet and was euthanased due to suffering a fractured wrist.
Race 5	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C1 - C1 - 520	One of the better supported runners ANOTHER MATE began well and led in the early and middle stages but began to drift on the final bend and finished in last place and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with pain in both wrists.
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	SINGLE SCULLER and VITA GIRL shifted out in the run to the first turn and FLAG WAVER racing on the outside was jostled for several strides until she was able to clear the inside runners and go on to win the race while SINGLE SCULLER and VITA GIRL both lost ground in the incident.
Race 7	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C1 - C1 - 520	LOTTO BIFF was checked and went back to the rear on the first corner. MISS SNOW ANGEL eased on two ocassions and lost ground entering the back straight and went back to race five lengths last and finished in 2nd last place. MISS SNOW ANGEL was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and after a defended hearing, was found to have breached the Rule 80.1 b and was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. BILLY HAKA raced in the back half of the field and dropped out to finish several lengths last and obviously tired badly. BILLY HAKA'S recent races have been over sprint distances and in the Stewards opinion, the dog did not see out the 520 metres of this race.
Race 8	MEDIA WORKS C2 - C2 - 305	THRILLING CAM jumped on terms with the field but stumbled soon after losing several lengths. THRILLING CAM then brushed the rail on the first corner losing further ground and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 9	WANGANUI SECURITY C0/1 D - C1d - 645	All clear.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 FINAL - C1f - 520	RHYME IN MELODY and REGAL DANCER collided on the first corner but recovered without losing much ground. REGAL DANCER was handy entering the last bend but was checked, went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C2 - C2 - 305	LANSVALE SPARK checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH BRUCE entering the bend and both runners lost ground in the incident. BOTANY STORY and HAYLEYS WISH collided on the home turn when racing at the rear of the field and they lost ground and finished in the last two places.
Race 12	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C1 - C1 - 305	IMPERATIVE was slow to begin and lost three lengths. HOMEBUSH TAYLOR and INIGO JONES were also a little slow to begin and INIGO JONES then ran into the hind quarters of HOMEBUSH TAYLOR on the first corner turning that runner sideways with both runners losing several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish.
