| Race 1 | Carols TABS Maiden Series Heat 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | CALM EXPRESS, HOT POOTIE and MENDOZA MAN were all slow to jump. HOT POOTIE and MENDOZA MAN came together in the early stages. Towards the end of the back straight SCARPA attempted to get to the outside checking GRAFFITI for a stride in the process. |
| Race 2 | Reel Fishin.com Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | JELLYSTONE PARK was last to jump. HOLLALICIOUS and FIJIAN SAM jostled for a few strides soon after the jump when racing in tight quarters while into the bend FIJIAN SAM and JELLYSTONE PARK came together for a stride. |
| Race 3 | Carols TABS Maiden Series Heat 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 2 | HIT DA NOSE and RUSTY SAM were both slow to jump. LLAMEDOS ran outwards soon after the jump and checked STABILE EYES for a stride. LLAMEDOS checked outwards into the bend pushing littermate HIT DA NOSE wide. HIT DA NOSE came off the fence on the home turn and cannoned into LLAMEDOS with RUSTY SAM also being checked in this incident. Following the race ASK SIX was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a sprained hock with a 42 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 4 | Reel Fishin.com Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | LENNONVILLE and FIRESIDE BLAZE were last to leave the traps. Into the bend LENNONVILLE was checked as she attempted to cross CYCLONE HOOLEY. On the bend DUNN ROBIN YOU received a check as FRIZZLE FRAZZLE moved away from the rails. CYCLONE HOOLEY then jumped on the back of DUNN ROBIN YOU causing both runners to lose ground and their chances. A post race veterinary check of DUNN ROBIN YOU revealed a grazed inner sartorius muscle and a sore left gracilis with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | Carols TABs Maiden Series Heat 3 - C0q - 318 Heat 3 | SAMMY RUBY was very slow to jump. BON VOGUE ran outwards into the bend pushing the favourite KILARA'S FANCY wider. TUI'S PLEASE got on heels on the bend when looking to improve losing some momentum. KILARA'S FANCY was again checked in the run home when making ground as TUI'S PLEASE ran outwards. KILARA'S FANCY recovered to finish an unlucky fourth. Following the race WALTON GRACE was found to have split webbing requiring sutures with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | Reel Fishin.com Series Heat 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 3 | BIT OF VISION was last to jump. Into the bend HOMEBUSH TUI and DELICHON URBICA were tightened with DELICHO URBICA running outwards and pushing BIT OF VISION wider with these runners losing ground. Shortly after the line MSHINDI appeared to strike the running rail with a post race veterinary check revealing right wrist pain with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 7 | Ron Smith 80 Today - C3/4 - 527 | ELEPHUNK ran outwards soon after the jump tightening WINSOME BUSTER and YAMBLA BOB. BROTHER RABBIT was determined to get to the rails in the run to the first bend with COLD FINGERS, YAMBLA BOB, WINSOME BUSTER and ELEPHUNK all receiving checks as he did so. |
| Race 8 | $25,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1/2 - 527 | ROYAL AKER was last to jump remaining well back throughout. ASCENDING FORCE ran off the rails slightly into the first bend checking DECADENT for a stride. MISS JETSUN and WINSOME JOLIE were forced wide as a result. |
| Race 9 | Thornton Auctions Auckland Derby Final - R/Af - 527 | RYDENBROOK JOSH ducked inwards for a stride at the jump. HONG KONG LOUIE ran outwards slightly into the first bend causing checks to TRIPLE TEE, REGENT HURRICANE and OLLIE FONZ. MR. CHINO was forced wide as a result. |
| Race 10 | Reel Fishin.com Series Heat 4 - C1q - 318 Heat 4 | MOCCONA came together with FLYING FLYNN at the jump and dropped to the rear. THRILLING KITE ran outwards when clear in the lead in the back straight. PARADISE CITY ran inwards into the bend and was dragged down by firstly FLYING FLYNN and then THRILLING RAY with most of the field apart from the leader THRILLING KITE being disorganised. A post race veterinary check of PARADISE CITY revealed no injury. |
| Race 11 | Ashford Boarding Kennels and Cattery Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | WINSOME DELTA and LACHLAN VALLEY were slow. The favourite BEAR CUB couldn't cross from an outside draw and received a slight check into the bend dropping out to finish last. Trainer Gary Noakes states that the dog prefers to get to the rail and today did not have the speed to cross the field. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner ART DECO kennel spokesperson Maxine Lozell stated that the inside box with the late scratching helped the dog together with a recent downgrade. PROVERBIAL was a late scratching as the dogs were presented with dehydration and blood in her urine. |
| Race 12 | Magness Benrow Stakes - C1 - 527 | PAMPEST was slow to jump. JUBILEE LINE ran outwards in the early stages and this together with pressure from the outside meant that COOL MOCHA was checked to the rear with this dog coming together with LOOSE GENIUS who also lost ground. On the first bend JUBILEE LINE ducked outwards for a stride checking HAIR HE IS and CAFE CHIC. |
| Race 13 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2 - 318 | JULIA NORRIS was badly checked when racing in behind BIGTIME MOE into the bend and dropped out to the rear. |
