Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: HOMEBUSH HAYLEY (JT McInerney) turned in the boxes when taking part in a Qualifying Trial over 295 metres, missing the jump by approximately 30 metres before pulling up at the bend. A veterinary check revealed a very painful left shoulder on extension with the veterinarian recommending a 28 day stand down up to and including 25 May 2011.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C5 - 295	CAWBOURNE ICE when moving down the track in the run to the first bend forced TOM FINN onto KNOW NEED with both of these dogs losing momentum. Prior to straightening on the final occasion TOM FINN shifted outwards and bumped CAWBOURNE ICE.
Race 2	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C2 - 520	SMOOCHA and WAVE YA HAND were both slow over the initial stages.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4 - 295	In the run to the first bend BOTANY ZENA when crossing downwards cramped BIGTIME FORCE, UNO HARRIET, OUR SWEET ROSE and ANOTHER NICK with BIGTIME FORCE being checked to drift to the back of the field. When rounding the bend REDLINE CHAOS shifted outwards to avoid the aforementioned incident and in doing so dictated BIGTIME FORCE onto SAFE AND SECURE. BIGTIME FORCE was subject to a Veterinary check which revealed a mild right hock sprain with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	Borat At Stud Dash - C3 - 295	ACHEW ACHEW was slow to begin. GENISTA TORNADO jumped inwards after dispatch and in doing so bumped BOSCA FELLA. REWIND HISTORY received vigorous contact in the run to the first bend as a result of the inside dog REAL CLEVER shifting outwards with the outside dog SWIPER BEEJAY running down towards the rail. Prior to straightening for the run home REWIND HISTORY shifted outwards contacting BOSCA FELLA and GENISTA TORNADO.
Race 5	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Sprint - C4 - 295	WILD ST TEDDY shifted down at the start tightening ANOTHER LEGIN, LINDSAY CLEEVE and BOTANY KELLY. When racing around the top bend CAWBOURNE CART shifted down onto the heels of WILD ST TEDDY and then moved outwards checking LES BAXTER. LES BAXTER then shifted down and contacted LINDSAY CLEEVE on the final turn before taking ANOTHER LEGIN wider on the track.
Race 6	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C4 - 520	GUTTER BLACK and SUGAR PLUM were both slow to begin. MIXED GRILL lost a stride racing towards the first bend when GENTLE HAND crossed to the rail ahead of it.MIXED GRILL checked off the heels of GENTLE HAND again rounding the first bend and also down the back straight, on both occasions shifting outwards. A Veteriary examination of GUTTER BLACK was requested by Stewards after the dog fell when reaching the lure after the finish. This examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7	www.racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295	SINGAPORE WILLY was slow to jump. CAWBOURNE LISA when crossing to the rails in the early stages caused a slight cramping to FOUR TO MIDNIGHT, SWITCH FORWARD and KNOW JOY.
Race 8	New Zealand Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	WINSOME OPAWA shifted outwards racing into the first bend and in doing so contacted HAMPDEN JACK who was taken wider on the track and checked KNOW PROOF. As a result of this incident HAMPDEN JACK lost all momentum which occurred directly in front of the trailing TIJAN who ran over the back of HAMPDEN JACK with both runners losing a significant amount of ground.
Race 9	New Zealand Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	TEDDY MARCELLO shifted off the rail into the first bend and in doing so took OPAWA FLYER wider on the track. KNOW WHICH and MAINLAND STAR came together briefly in the back straight.
Race 10	Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C3 - 295	WHERE'S MY SEAT shifted down the track on the final bend contacting and checking GENISTA COMMANCHE
Race 11	Garrard's Horse And Hound Distance - C1d - 645	KNOW BEST came up with the lids and then ran out after the start. SOFIA'S GIRL was tightened by WINSOME BUCKS soon after the jump and then moved down towards the rail tightening KNOW BEST, ALCATRAZ BOY and SLENDER CHANCE.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C5 - 295	PURE CHEMISTRY was bumped by both the outside dog DA BOSS and the inside dog KNOW RIVAL just after the start. GOTCHA LIFE and BUSINESS TIME came together in the initial stages.
