| Race 1 | Super Pets Stakes - C2/3 - 520 | CROSSFIRE MAX and IT'S NOT EASY were slow to begin. After the start CROSS TO DAPTO crossed the path of KNOW BEST causing tightening to this dog who had to change its path which in turn caused a check to ALCATRAZ BOY. Prior to reaching the first bend PRETTY GIRL when shifting down the track contacted CROSS TO DAPTO and fell heavily to the track. The following CROSSFIRE MAX was forced to jump the fallen PRETTY GIRL. A veterinary examination was requested of PRETTY GIRL which revealed no injury. |
| Race 2 | Shirley Veterinary Dash - C3 - 295 | MOJAVE MICK was checked upon arrival at the course after the trainer reported the dog to be unwell. After examination the dog was scratched due to lethargy. ROYAL CHARADE was slow over the initial stages. BOSCA FELLA faltered in the run home when contacting the heels of SWIPER BEEJAY. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4 - 295 | Racing around the first bend CHEETAH WOODS checked off the heels of JACKSON CAT and in doing so took LINDSAY CLEEVE, ANOTHER LEGIN and JUST BEATRICE wider on the track. JACKSON CAT shifted outwards on the bend contacting WILD ST TEDDY who blundered and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Sprint - C3 - 295 | SISSI ran in after jumping checking WHERE'S ROBYN. In the run to the bend REWIND HISTORY ran outwards tightening and checking SISSI, SPEEDY LEESHELLE and SORRENTO SUN. REWIND HISTORY was also checked in the incident coming back on WHERE'S ROBYN. |
| Race 5 | Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1f - 520 | KNOW SECRET who made this final field was scratched prior to the box draw due to a sprain of the right fore 3rd toe resulting in a 10 day stand down up to and including 27 April 2011. MIGHTY PROPHET and DRUMS were both slow to begin. After the start ANOTHER DOLLAR ran down the track tightening MY BLIND SIDE and SMOOCHA. This tightening was worsened by WEONA DARLING running outwards who was turned sideways as a result of the contact. DUKE OF FERN was checked racing into the first bend by ANOTHER DOLLAR who was crossing to the rails. |
| Race 6 | Celtic Arms Tavern Dash - C5 - 295 | LIAM BALE was slow to begin. Racing into the first bend PURE CHEMISTRY shifted outwards and in doing do contacted CAWBOURNE ICE causing it a check. |
| Race 7 | Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | GUY BAXTER and OPAWA FLYER came together racing into the first bend. |
| Race 8 | Murray Wigley@Re/Max Real Estate Ph 3715005 Distance - C0d - 645 | SLENDER CHANCE ran outwards after jumping contacting and checking SURELY YOU JEST. Racing towards the first bend SPEED TICKET in the process of crossing down the track caused considerable tightening to SURELY YOU JEST and SLENDER CHANCE wih both dogs being checked and losing thier momentum. Upon straightening for the final occasion SPEED TICKET briefly bumped SHUNT APPEAL when improving to it's inside. |
| Race 9 | Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295 | REDDY BOY crossed sharply downwards after the start contacting SIX TO MIDNIGHT. Racing towards the first bend SWITCH FORWARD when improving forwards shifted down the track colliding heavily with EXCITING KYLE. Due to the strong nature of the impact both dogs lost their prominent racing position. |
| Race 10 | David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C4 - 520 | SUGAR PLUM ran outwards at the start and checked KNOW WHICH, GENTLE HAND and KNOW PROOF. Racing around the first bend CAWBOURNE INDY and GENTLE HAND came together. |
| Race 11 | Happy Birthday Pat Low Dash - C5 - 295 | After beginning quickly FOUR ONE CHARLIE crossed down the track causing tigthening to DA BOSS, SINGAPORE WILLY, PURE AND SPECIAL, WINSOME BUCKS and MARLENE'S BABE. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C4 - 295 | Racing towards the first bend PAREORA DOLL checked off the hind quarters of BOTANY ZENA and CAWBOURNE CART into the path of REDLINE CHAOS who had it's front legs contacted and consequently stumbled. On the final bend PAREORA DOLL and LES BAXTER came together causing PAREORA DOLL to turn sideways. |
