Track: Good The race surface was in a good condition and on a par with recent racing surfaces since racing recommenced at Addington post earthquake. However three serious leg injuries were sustained during the meeting which resulted in the euthanasia of one dog. The causes of these injuries have not been established however the matters will be raised with GRNZ.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	COOL JORDIE was slow to jump. In the run to the bend LIAM TITLE ran outwards colliding with KNOW HELP. Into the bend FLAT BATTERY tightened UNO IMOGENE who was checked coming back on COOL JORDIE, LIAM TITLE and KNOW HELP. Soon after COT CASE CUTIE ran wide checking FLAT BATTERY. Into the home straight COOL JORDIE checked out off the heels of FLAT BATTERY to collide with KNOW HELP before COOL JORDIE was tightened by LIAM TITLE.
Race 2	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	INIGO JONES was slow to jump. After the jump KNOW TURBO moved away from the rail as TEMPTING OFFER ran inwards resulting in GLENMORE LASS and SNICKLE FRITZ being checked. Into the bend CAWBOURNE TOUCH ran down towards the rail to take the lead resulting in RULBOOK RAY and KNOW TURBO being checked. RULEBOOK RAY drifted quickly coming back on GLENMORE LASS and SNICKLE FRITZ. Into the straight KNOW TURBO checked out off the heels of TEMPTING OFFER. SNICKLE FRITZ was vetted after the event and found to have a right inside metatarsal fracture with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Sprint - C0 - 295	LITTLE RIVER was very slow to jump. MOGADISHU ran out into the bend tightening SWANNOA SNIPPER, FUR PATROL and COOL LUCK. LITTLE RIVER improved along the rail before running out around the bend marring MOGADISHU. Stewards reviewed the race film and deemed LITTLE RIVER to have marred in terms of Rule 80.1.a. with the dog stood down for a period of 28 days and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 4	Steak Meal Night Thursday 14th Stakes - C0 - 520	JEMMA'S ASSASSIN ran in after the jump checking BLACK OZARK, HALF THROTTLE and AL'S BEST MATE. Into the first bend AL'S BEST MATE and KNOW PEACE collided before being struck by JEMMA'S ASSASSIN with all three losing ground. Around the bend OPAWA JACK ran into the hindquarters of HALF THROTTLE.
Race 5	Flair Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH NESTOR was slow to jump. ANOTHER DRIZZLE ran down towards the rail into the bend checking PROTEST LINE, SING CILLA BLACK and ALICANTE on his inner. SMASH KINGDOM faultered when racing in the clear around the bend drifting out to finish last. A veterinary check revealed a right hock fracture with a 28 day stand down recommended. SING CILLA BLACK was also vetted and found to have a torn right fore web with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Dave Emerson Consultancy Dash - C2 - 295	KNOW SPORTY and JACKPOT JACKIE ran in after jumping checking SOFA LOAFA. JACKPOT JACKIE ran outwards into the bend colliding with ASTRO DAVE both being checked. Soon after KNOW SPORTY moved towards the rail into the racing line of JOHNNIE GEORGE who struck the hindquarters of KNOW SPORTY with both losing ground. ASTRO DAVE checked out off JOHNNIE GEORGE into the home straight.
Race 7	$25,000 Terminating Pick 6 Leg 1 Stakes - C1 - 520	EMIE ROSE, SMOOCHA and FOGGY STORM were slow to jump. WEONA DARLING and SMOOCHA ran wide around the first bend. BOTANY HORNET was vetted following the final event and found with a right hock sprain with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C3 - 295	CAWBOURNE BUNDY was slow to jump. ROTKARA SWIFT faultered when in the lead around the bend before being hit by CHEETAH WOODS who checked out as a result to come in contact with OHOKA KERRY who was forced very wide on the track taking CAWBOURNE SCAREY with her. ROKTARA SWIFT was vetted after the event and found to have sustained a fractured right hock with subsequent euthanasia on humane grounds
Race 9	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C1 - 520	DISTINCT IMAGE was a late scratching at kennelling when found to have a split inside left hind toenail. OKUKU STAR was checked soon after the jump when DEVOTCHKA ran inwards. DUKE OF FERN and DRUMS came together for a number of strides around the first bend.
Race 10	Be Back 4 NZ Oaks Thursday Sprint - C4 - 295	MOJAVE MICK checked out into the home straight colliding with CAWBOURNE JODIE.
Race 11	Power Farming Ltd Stakes - C2 - 520	Into the first bend KIWARA TREY tightened SHUNT APPEAL who was forced down onto BOTANY GARETH who in turn was struck by STATE DA OBVIOUS. BOTANY GARETH, STATE DA OBVIOUS and SHUNT APPEAL came together around the bend and into the back straight when racing at the rear.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C5 - 295	JACKSON CAT ran in after the jump checking NOBLE ENFORCER and DEMOGRAPHIC. Into the bend DEMOGRAPHIC moved outwards checking JACKSON CAT, DONNA BAXTER and ANOTHER NICK with LIFE WITH DEXTER forced wide.
