| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | STILL NO WIVES, MILLIE SWANSON, NELLY FLARETY, HOMEBUSH EDDIE and KATIE HAKA were checked near the first corner and they lost varying amounts of ground wwith NELLY FLARETY the only one to recover and she finished in 2nd place. BILLY HAKA was handy on the bend but checked off the heels of AMBLE UP and lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH EDDIE checked off the heels of KATIE HAKA on the home turn when they were racing at the rear and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 Ht1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | One of the favourites ALWAYS A STORY drew box 7 and raced wide on the track throughout covering extra ground and he finished in 6th place. HOMEBUSH SCOTTY was checked on the first corner losing several lengths and he tailed the field for the remainder of the race to finish in last place. PICK A PEPPER checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH BERNIE on the first bend and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305 | ELLA'S ANGEL jumped in from the start and checked HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN and SOUTHERN EIGHTY who settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH CINDY shifted in on the first corner and collided with THRILLING SIMONE and fell. THRILLING SIMONE, HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN, ELLA'S ANGEL and URITI STORM were all affected and lost ground in the incident. HOMEBUSH CINDY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 Ht2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | ANOTHER MATE jumped in at the start and checked OUT BY FIVE who settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH FRASER checked off the heels of CAUGHT THE EYE on the first corner and moved out over the heels of ANOTHER MATE and ran wide around the first bend. |
| Race 5 | Couper Catering C1 - C1 - 305 | GINA MAC was checked on the first corner losing three lengths and she never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 6 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 520 | RYBENBROOK BELLE and ANOTHER BREEZE began well to share the lead going to the first corner but they bumped together and dropped back and RYBENBROOK BELLE was dragged down from behind by GO BOOF and fell. ANOTHER BREEZE and GO BOOF also lost ground in the incident. RYBENBROOK BELLE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a suspected fractured scapula. |
| Race 7 | Happy Birthday Mark C1 F - C1f - 305 | HOMEBUSH JODIE who's recent form had been very good, started from box 7 and settled towards the rear. She was then checked on the first corner when THUNDA THIGHS shifted in and she ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 8 | Broad Roofing Services R/A - R/A - 305 | JUST TOM was checked back to last in the run to the first corner losing several lengths but he recovered to run on for 4th placing. DON'T KNOW, CAWBOURNE DRAG and SALLY SAY SO all ran wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground. |
| Race 9 | Palamountains Nutrition C0D - C0d - 645 | WHO'S YA DUFFER was slow to begin losing three lengths. BLACK SHELLEEN checked off the heels of WHAT A MATE entering the back straight and he went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete Services Wanganui C1 - C1 - 520 | IMAGE was checked back to the rear soon after the start and then ran wide over extra ground on the first bend. LOTTO RASPBERRY and THRILLING ANNIE were both checked on the first corner and ran wide on the bend. HOMEBUSH BROCK began to drift back entering the back straight and finished several lengths last and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a hock sprain. |
| Race 11 | Wanganui Security Services C1 - C1 - 305 | HAYLEY'S WISH went up with box lids and lost three lengths. The favourite HAPPY CLAPPY led from the start but ran wide over extra ground on the bend and this possibly cost her the chance of winning instead of finishing in 2nd place. |
| Race 12 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | MUM KNOWS JACK shifted in on the first corner and checked COUGH IT UP who went back and out causing a check to JIMMY HAKA and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places. |
