| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | PRINCE PARADE was very slow to begin losing six lengths and he then ran wide over extra ground on the bend but made up a lot of ground but still finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 375 | IN OR OUT jumped on terms with the other runners but gradually drifted back and finished several lengths last and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with pectoral and gracilus muscle injuries. WAIRERE MIRACLE led from the start but ran wide into the straight losing ground but then ran on well to finish in 2nd place. |

One of the better supported runners CAWBOURNE TINA began well from box 1 but shifted out going into the bend and covered extra ground and finished in 6th place. |
| Race 4 | Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | WHO'S YA DUFFER was again slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. MISSING MELODY began awkwardly losing a little ground but recovered to win the race. ERIC'S SONG shifted out on the first corner and checked OH LORDY who went back and out onto TIZA FEVER with both losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Cloverlea Sprint C2 - C2 - 375 | KINGA COOP began awkwardly and settled at the rear but made up ground to finish in 4th place. HOMEBUSH WIGGLE was checked back to last on the first corner and soon after WHERE'S WALLY shifted out and checked MAGIC TEMPTRESS and LEVERAGE who both lost ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | Hokowhitu Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | PIN UP PUPPY was checked soon after the start and settled at the rear and failed to improve, finishing in 2nd last place. BIGTIME PAL shifted in on the first corner and checked MICKEY THE RAT who lost ground. RUSTY ENFORCER was handy enough on the first corner but faltered and drifted back to finish a long last and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days wiith a gracilus muscle injury. |

| Race 9 | Manawatu Raceway Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | The favourite ULTIMATE SPICE was slow to begin losing three lengths. ASHBY ELLY led from the start but ran wide entering the home straight and this possibly cost her the chance of winning and she finished in 2nd place. |
| Race 10 | Turakina Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | One of the favourites CAULDRON checked off the heels of TOM FINN on the first corner and lost ground. He then checked across the heels of TOM FINN on the bend and ran very wide into the home straight and finished in last place. CALYPSO RUMBLE was checked losing three lengths when CAWBOURNE JOSE shifted in on the first corner. |
