| Race 1 | Credit Works Sprint - C4 - 318 | ART DECO, MINT OCTANE and SUB CLASS were all slow to jump. THRILLING PETRA received a check into the bend and dropped to the rear. The favourite BLUE JEAN ALICE was handy throughout and battled well for a close third. |
| Race 2 | Anything Acrylic Sprint - C0 - 318 | REFER TO RED, THIRD MAN and WHATA LADY all came together into the bend and lost their chances with HIT DA NOS and PAMPEST receiving checks in this incident and losing ground. |
| Race 3 | The 2 Fat Chefs @ Papakura RSA Sprint - C1 - 318 | The favourite CAWBOURNE BEAR was awkwardly away for a stride and then was held up into the bend when attempting to improve. He ran on well for second when clear. |
| Race 4 | Sudserella Commercial Laundry LTD Sprint - C1 - 318 | FRIZZLE FRAZZLE was last to jump making ground late for fifth. The favourite ENOUGH IS ENOUGH was only fairly away and the checked outwards when improving into the bend causing MARTYN STREET to lose ground. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ran on well for second when in the clear. Following the race THRILLING RAY was found to have a left hock strain with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | Informant is Back Sprint - C3 - 318 | CAWBOURNE MADZ ran outwards into the bend checking the favourite GO TO CROW who lost ground with KAMACO also being inconvenienced in behind. Soon after GO TO CROW was tightened between runners when attempting to improve and lost more ground and his chance. Trainer Alison Schneider was questioned in regards to the improved effort of the winner VALIDICTION. She stated that a recent downgrade and the advantage of the one box had been the reason for the turnaround in form. |
| Race 6 | $15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527 | The favourite BUTTONY BOY was last to jump. This dog was then badly held up at the end of the back straight and lost momentum finishing towards the rear. PLASMAH was checked and dropped to the rear into the first bend as CAWBOURNE SNOWY ran outwards. PLASMAH made ground late for third. |
| Race 7 | Two Fat Cows Sprint - C5 - 318 | CHEVERTON was last to jump. A combination of PRIVATE PEDRO running outwards and the favourite COOL IDOL angling inwards ensured that TALIESIN BLUE and WEE PING DOLL were both tightened and lost ground in the back straight. Soon after PRIVATE PEDRO and COOL IDOL came together and lost momentum with COOL IDOL not recovering. |
| Race 8 | Kiara's Gift Sprint - C2 - 318 | THRILLING PIPPI was badly tightened into the bend as PRIDE OF SOUTH ran outwards slightly and CENTRAL SKIP ran inwards with THRILLING PIPPI dropping to the rear. WINSOME SKY was badly checked in this incident. SOHO PRINCE checked off the back of CENTRAL SKIP soon after and lost ground. |
| Race 9 | South Auckland Motors Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | JOHN DEED ran inwards soon after the jump taking the line of WINSOME FLASH for a few strides. TIGGER FOOT was checked into the back straight and dropped out to last where she remained. |
| Race 10 | www.agrc.co.nz - C2 - 318 | This race was delayed by three minutes due to a harness event running late. The inside runners SO DEEP, JULIA NORRIS, THRILLING AZTEC and BEAR CUB were all slow to jump and never got into contention thereafter. No head on view was available for this event. |
