| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 520 | GREYWINDS KOBY and OH LORDY were a little slow to begin and then they collided soon after the start and settled at the rear. GREYWINDS KOBY then checked of the heels of LEO'S BOY on the first bend losing further ground. |

| Race 8 | Mickey's Super Liquor R/A - R/A - 520 | SANTA SLOY was slow to begin and soon after made contact with RUN RILEY RUN and lost a little momentum. SIXTY TWENTY shifted out on the first corner and checked BOTANY BARB and SANTA SLOY. Entering the back straight, SIXTY TWENTY checked off the heels of RUN RILEY RUN and shifted out and collided with SANTA SLOY and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services C5 - C5 - 305 | ALLEGRO VISION moved across sharply from the start and caused checks to BOTANY ANGELA, UPAHUT STAR, SHE ROCKS, BERELLA CHELSEA and STIFF. MAGICATE shifted out on the first corner and checked BOTANY ANGELA who lost four lengths and AERIAL BAXTER who also lost ground in the incident. |

BIGTIME GEM ran in sharply from the start and checked the favourite LITTLE MOTHER who lost three lengths and went into the first corner in 4th position but made up ground to finish in 2nd place |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C5 - C5 - 305 | The favourite HIFI ALLEGRO raced in 2nd place approaching the first corner but shifted out slightly and made contact with RON'S SECRET and lost three lengths which she was not able to recover from and she finished in 4th place. DADDY LOWE checked over the heels of HIFI ALLEGRO approaching the home turn and ran wide into the straight. |
| Race 12 | Wanganui Security Services C3 - C3 - 305 | One of the favourites PEEKABOO POPPY raced to the first corner vying for 2nd place with ASHBY ELLY but was checked when that runner shifted in and tightened him and PEEKABOO POPPY went back causing checks to STILL NO TRACK and ASH VEGAS. PEEKABOO POPPY never recovered and finished in last place. |
