| Race 1 | Welcome To Cambridge Sprint - C2/3 - 375 | WINSOME SKY was last to jump. On the bend ALL ABOUT DOSH faltered and dropped out to finish a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn gracilis muscle with a twenty eight day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | Waikato Kids Karts Sprint - C0 - 375 | DELICHON URBICA ran wide on the home turn losing some ground before running on nicely for fourth. |
| Race 3 | Tokoroa and Districts Vets Sprint - C1/2 - 375 | CENTRAL SKIP was tightened along the inside into the bend and lost ground drifting to the rear. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner THRILLING SIGHT handler Andrew Taylor stated that on Thursday the dog was slow after playing up at the start but today had boxed without problems and jumped accordingly. |
| Race 4 | Club House Bar and Cafe Sprint - C1 - 375 | BUTTONY BOY and the favourite THRILLING TUNE were the slowest away. THRILLING TUNE ran on well for second. |
| Race 5 | Committee Stakes - C0 - 457 | Favourite CAFE CHIC and JABU were the slowest to jump. Sisters CAFE CHIC and CREAMY RICE came together into the bend with CREAMY RICE losing ground. CAFE CHIC lost some momentum in this incident but ran on well for third. |
| Race 6 | Holsters Tokoroa Sprint - C1 - 375 | ALLBLACK ENFORCE, THRILLING KITE and SOHO PRINCE were the last to jump and remained well back throughout. |
| Race 7 | $25,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 457 | The favourite SPLENDOUROUS was badly tightened and DECADENT to a lesser extent into the bend and lost ground as RUMSFEILD attempted to cross from their outside. SPLENDOUROUS ran on well for second. ALL IN ONE ran outwards on the bend when vying for the lead pushing an improving RUMSFEILD over extra ground and these two runners came together for a stride both losing ground. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner DECADENT Trainer Ben Craik stated that the dog received a bad check at its last start but went to the line well and that he was expecting a good run today. |
| Race 8 | Racing for Christchurch Appeal Fund Stakes - C4 - 375 | Favourite ASTON RED and BLUE JEAN ALICE came together for a stride at the jump and settled midfield. BLUE JEAN ALICE was then checked into the bend losing ground with ASCENDING FORCE also being inconvenienced at this stage. ASTON RED and BLUE JEAN ALICE both made ground well in the run home. |
| Race 9 | South Waikato Cup - C5 - 457 | HARAJUKU BOY and WINSOME FLASH were the slowest to jump. BUT WHY NOT and WINSOME FLASH came together for a stride soon after the jump. HARAJUKU BOY received a check in the back straight when trying to angle outwards and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 10 | Phil Heemskerk Memorial Stakes - C3 - 457 | FANCY MILLY was checked in the back straight as THRILLING RANSOM angled to the rail in front of her with FANCY MILLY losing a couple of lengths. |
| Race 11 | Thomas Jewellers Sprint - C5 - 375 | PRESSURE POINT and DARK CAVALIER were the last to jump. Soon after this CORPORAL JONES was tightened and dropped to the rear. DARK CAVALIER was held up along the inside on the home turn when looking for room running on for fifth when clear. |
| Race 12 | Waikato GRC Appreciation Stakes - C2 - 457 | Favourite THRILLING BOSS received a slight check soon after the jump and then was held up into the bend when attempting to improve. He ran on for fourth. MADDER THAN remained wide for the length of the back straight. |
