Track: Good There was a delay to the start of Race 1 due to a wiring fault with the photo finish. That was repaired and worked without incident during the meeting. The track was presented in excellent order with a class record as well as a track record being set during the meeting.

Race 1	ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 390	RADAR SHIRAZ was slow to jump. SPIRAL EBONY ran outwards in the run to the bend checking ROMBERG LASS before running out further and checking CHELSEAS BABE, BELFAST CHUKKA and MR.MEADE. MR.MEADE ran wide into the home straight. BELFAST CHUKKA was subject to a veterinary check which revealed the dog to have suffered cramping post race with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C0 - 457	HALF THROTTLE ran outwards after the jump colliding with LARCOMB LASS and VISUAL ILLUSION before LARCOMB LASS ran in checking FLUKY LUCY and ANOTHER MATE who both lost ground. Into the bend ANOTHER MATE checked out off the heels of HALF THROTTLE colliding with LARCOMB LASS and checked FLUKY LUCY.
Race 3	justracing.com.au semi-finals - C1 - 390 Heat 1	Upon jumping FLASH TRAV ran inwards as BILLY DABYNE ran outwards resulting in UNDER COVER, THRILLING HALLE and TEMPTING OFFER being checked. Soon after UNDER COVER and MIGHTY PROPHET came together. In the home straight BILLY DABYNE eased when racing midfield finishing a distant last. A veterinary check revealed a muscle tear to the left shoulder with a 28 day stand down recommended. Stewards deemed BILLY DABYNE to have failed to pursue the lure in terms of Rule 80.1.b. Given that BILLY DABYNE was found with a serious injury in terms of Rule 80.3, a Satisfactory Trial was ordered in accordance with Rule 80.5.
Race 4	WILLYS FLOORING LTD - C1 - 457	GIMME A DREAM, KINGSTON FLYER, WHY WHY DELILAH and CAWBOURNE CATCH came together after the jump. In the run to the bend WHY WHY DELILAH struck the heels of GIMME A DREAM who checked outwards and collided with KINGSTON FLYER. Into the bend HIGHGROVE crossed down to the rail causing WHY WHY DELILAH to check outwards. HIGHGROVE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed pain and swelling to a left hind toe with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 5	BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C3 - 390	LA PYTHON, WHITE PHOSPHORUS and BLACK PAN were slow to jump. Into the bend CAWBOURNE BUNDY moved off the rail checking WILLY BOLT and STAGS INGILL. Soon after WILLY BOLT was tightened by NOBLE ENFORCER as he moved down towards the rail.
Race 6	justracing.com.au semi-finals - C1 - 390 Heat 2	SWEET APPEAL was slow to jump. DON'T FORGET JET ran inwards into the bend tightening WILLY'S PRIDE, TOWER and MARLENE'S GIRL who sustained checks.
Race 7	COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C3 - 457	CAWBOURNE STARS jumped awkwardly from the boxes settling at the rear. Into the bend IT'S NOT EASY moved away from the rail tightening BRASSED OFF. Soon after KNOW EXCITEMENT moved don into the path of IT'S NOT EASY who struck the hindquarters of KNOW EXCITEMENT with both dogs checking out to collide with CAWBOURNE STARS. KNOW EXCITEMENT was subject to a veterinary check which revealed pain on extension of the right stifle with a 21 day recommended.
Race 8	Middle Distance Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	Around the bend OPAWA FLYER ran out colliding with KNOW SPUNK.
Race 9	justracing.com.au semi-finals - C1 - 390 Heat 3	MALROY jumped awkwardly from the boxes losing all chance. BLACK TRIGGER was slow to jump. ROYAL CHARADE was tighettned by BARKING MAD into the bend.
Race 10	100% SELECTRIX - C1/2 - 457	RED TIGER drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend BOTANY GARETH moved off the rail colliding with RONRAY CRUISER.
Race 11	Middle Distance Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	LIFE WITH DEXTER drifted to the rear after the jump before running very wide in the home straight and forcing FIREMAN'S SALUTE over extra ground.
Race 12	justracing.com.au semi-finals - C1 - 390 Heat 4	WITCHALICIOUS came up with the lids settling last. Into the bend THAT'S BIZAAR tightened HOMEBUSH SHEDAN and CULVIE CORGI before OKUKU STAR collided with THAT'S BIZAAR shortly after.
Race 13	$25 YARD MUZZLE STAKES - C5 - 390	PRETTY GOOD scrambled from the boxes settling last before improving quickly into the bend.
Race 14	SGRC BOUNCE B POWDER - C1 - 390	THRILLING CYBIL stumbled when jumping from the boxes losing ground. Into the bend VERONICA moved off the rail and HOMEBUH KALAMA moved inwards resulting in JOHNNIE GEORGE being tightened coming back on MY BLIND SIDE. VERONICA was also checked as a result of the tightening.
Race 15	Middle Distance Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3	KNOW TRUTH was slow to jump. BENJI LAFOURCHE ran outwards after jumping colliding with HOMEBUSH REECE. TIMS TIGER ran down towards the rail into the bend tightening BENJI LAFOURCHE, KNOW TRUTH and HOMEBUSH REECE. Around the bend TIMS TIGER checked out off the heels of UNION STEAM.
Race 16	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C2 - 390	HO HO PAREORA jumped awkwardly from the boxes. COT CASE CUTIE ran out after jumping colliding with SURFIN' BIZAAR and SISSI.
