| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 | GOZO DANCER, KINGA COOP and LISSADELL TOBY were slow to begin losing three lengths. The favourite KINGA COOP recovered best of the three to finish in 2nd place. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 520 | The favourite RYBENBROOK FLASH was slow to begin losing two lengths but recovered to win the race. SECRET CHLOE was checked and went back to last with a circuit to run and she then ran wide on the first bend and continued to drift back and finished several lengths last. SECRET CHLOE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury apart from some superficial grazing. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | BOND ECLIPSE, SEDGEBROOK LEE and LACHLAN VALLEY were slow to begin losing three lengths. BOTANY STORY and SEDGEBROOK LEE were checked on the first corner losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. WHERE'S WALLY raced handy to the lead but ran wide on the bend and into the straight and this probably affected his chance of finishing closer than his 3rd placing. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ ) Ltd C3 - C3 - 305 | ROTKARA LUCY was checked on the first corner and dropped back causing a slight check to KEITHY GEE and they stayed back to finish at the rear. KEITHY GEE suffered a fractured toe and was stood down for 28 days. |
| Race 5 | Couper Catering C3 - C3 - 305 | MAGIC TEMPTRESS was very slow to begin losing five lengths but she made up ground very well to finish in 5th place. TWENTY SIXTY was handy on the first corner but was slightly tightened and went back onto UPAHUT CRYSTAL and they both lost ground. |
| Race 6 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | The favourite KILMAINHAM CHILL was slow to begin and he then shifted out on the first corner and collided with RUN FOR LLEYTON and they both lost ground. KILMAINHAM CHILL then made ground well to be handy on the home turn but faded slightly in the run home and finished in 4th place. TAILS OFF, ASK PLEASE, JACK BANNER and MY BAD JONNY jostled together on the first bend and all four lost ground. TAIILS OFF recovered the best of them to finish in 3rd place with the other three finishing in the rear group. |
| Race 7 | Palamountains Nutrition SpecA F C4 - SPECA - 305 | CRYSTAL KATIE began awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and she tailed the field throughout the race. ERIC PHOENIX shifted in on the first turn and BIGTIME SURVIVOR had to check across its heels with both losing ground but they recovered to finish in 2nd and 4th places. |
| Race 8 | Mickey's Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305 | FIVE KAY KAT had to ease losing three lengths on the first corner when WINSOME FREDDY shifted in to the rail . KYLE IZMIR lost momentum on the bend when checking away from the heels of DADDY LOWE. KYLIE IZMIR was then bumped by OPAWA MEGASTAR and pushed wide entering the home straight and again lost momentum and finished in 4th place. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | CLASSY HOLLY was in the leading group going into the first corner but was checked and went back onto ONE WILD THING and they never recovered and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete Wanganui C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | SNOW TRAIL was checked soon after the start and then on the first corner SNOW TRAIL, NIP TUCK and THRILLING BUDDY were all checked and lost ground. SNOW TRAIL was again checked entering the final bend and he made contact with the rail and went back to last and finished in that position. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with grazing and cuts to a hind leg. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | HOMEBUSH JAG shifted out slightly on the home turn and bumped UPAHUT STAR who lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 12 | Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305 | CIAO FOR NOW shifted out in the back straight and bumped MOLLY DARLING who appeared to be off balance and shifted out causing checks to itself and also TOM FINN and ROTKARA MOMENTS with all three losing ground and they finished at the rear. |
