| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | POOR BOUNCE was the slowest to begin and he then galloped on the heels of BAD BOY TIGER on the first corner which caused BAD BOY TIGER to check and run very wide around the bend over extra ground and he finished in last place. POOR BOUNCE then ran on very well after the incident to win the race. WAIRERE MIRACLE and NUTS FOR SURE collided on the home turn and both lost a little momentum but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 457 | BREAKING MELODY and OUT BY FIVE raced wide on the track throughout covering extra ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 3 | Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375 | JUST TOM and LISSADELL TOBY bumped together soon after the start and settled back in the field. |
| Race 4 | Foxton Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | MICKEY THE RAT and LISSADELL REBEL were checked back to the rear on the first corner when runners drawn further out shifted in. LISSADELL REBEL then raced wide on the bend over extra ground but ran on well in the straight to finish in 5th place. RUSTY ENFORCER moved out slightly on the home turn and bumped FLOATING AWAY out onto HOMEBUSH TAYLOR who lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 5 | Cloverlea Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | CAWBOURNE DRAG and the favourite ULTIMATE SPICE were checked racing to the first corner when runners drawn further out shifted in and they went back to the rear. ULTIMATE SPICE then raced wide over extra ground on the bend and they both finished well back. |
| Race 6 | Hokowhitu Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | WHO'S YA DUFFER was slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. LOTTO BIFF shifted out slightly on the bend and bumped SOPHISTICATED who was forced a little wide and lost momentum for a couple of strides and drifted to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375 | CRYSTAL KATIE, ROYAL MINTY and MR JAZZ MAN were all checked losing ground on the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. ROYAL MINTY ran very wide into the straight covering extra ground. |
| Race 8 | Riverdale Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | The race was started two minutes behind time when the dogs were late getting to the boxes due to several Trainers having dogs in the preceeding race and the tight gap between the races. MAGIC TEMPTRESS shifted in soon after the start and checked FLASH ENFORCER and OUR PLAYBOY who settled at the rear. OUR PLAYBOY began to drift soon after and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a torn deltoid muscle. LIL'LARRIKIN led from the start until approaching the home straight where she ran very wide and this probably cost her a closer placing than 5th. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Raceway Sprint C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | POWERFUL ENEMY disputed the lead to the first corner but was checked losing four lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. LITTLE BLACKSPOT was also handy on the first corner but was awkwardly placed between runners and also lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Turakina Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | UPAHUT STAR shifted in running to the first turn and checked CAWBOURNE JADE and LAW'S HILL who went back to near the rear. LAW'S HILL recovered best of the two to make up ground for 4th place. |
| Race 11 | Marton Stakes C4 - C4 - 457 | SANTA SLOY was checked on the first turn and dropped back onto RUN RILEY RUN who also lost ground and was forced to race wide over extra ground on the bend and he never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 12 | Woodville Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | DANCING POWER and RUN FOR LLEYTON were slow to begin and settled at the rear and they stayed well back to finish in the rear group. |
