| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | RHODA HOLMES was checked on the bend and lost two lengths. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375 | CRAZY BABY was scratched without penalty when Trainer I.Moore was unable to attend the meeting due to a Hospital appointment which she was committed to. HOMEBUSH JONAH ran in from the start and checked GOZO DANCER who lost ground and settled at the rear. CHELSEA'S BEAUTY and HOMEBUSH JONAH bumped together on the first corner and HOMEBUSH JONAH lost ground and stayed back to finish in last place. DON'T KNOW ran wide over extra ground entering the home straight but finished on for 3rd placing. |
| Race 3 | Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 457 | WHO'S YA DUFFER was slow to begin losing three lengths. ERIC'S SONG shifted out from the rail in the run to the first corner and made contact with TIZA FEVER and they jostled for several strides, dropped back to the tail of the field and finished in the rear group. MISSING MELODY who was well supported, drew box 8 and settled in midfield but was checked on the bend and again entering the home straight and finished in 2nd last place. ERIC'S SONG was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury. |
| Race 4 | Foxton Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | JUST TOM was the slowest to begin and after starting from box 8, he was forced to race wide on the track throughout and did well to finish in 4th place. The eventual winner THRILLING ALI shifted in on the first corner and checked YA GUNNA who dropped back onto WINSOME BOND and they never recovered and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 5 | Cloverlea Dash - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH TAYLOR and THRILLING GRIZZ collided soon after the start and THRILLING GRIZZ dropped back to the rear and he then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 2nd last place. WHERE'S WALLY shifted out running to the first corner and jostled with COUGH IT UP who was checked back to the rear and he stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 6 | Hokowhitu Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | STILL NO TRACK and BOND ECLIPSE were slow to begin losing three lengths. MY BAD JONNY and ASK PLEASE bumped together in the run to the first corner and ASK PLEASE dropped back and soon after was again checked when in contact with BOND ECLIPSE when that dog shifted in. BOND ECLIPSE was pushed wide in the incident and stayed back to finish last. IMA SPICE shifted in on the home turn and checked over the heels of THRILLING SPRAT and lost momentum for a few strides. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375 | KEITHY GEE and FLASH ENFORCER were checked on the bend losing four lengths and all chance. WANDY WANNABE jumped on terms with the other runners but drifted to be racing five lengths behind the field and he finished in last place and was examiined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with pectoral muscle and hip support injuries. |
| Race 8 | Riverdale Sprint C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR drew box 7 and was forced to race wide throughout covering extra ground and was last into the home straight but ran on quite well for 4th place. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Raceway Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | RUN RILEY RUN wanted to race away from the rail in the run to the first corner and this resulted in checks to itself and also NIP TUCK and OLYMPIC ACE and they lost several lengths and all chance. LAGOON BEACH BOY and BOTANY BARB were also inconvenienced in the incident and lost a little ground. The Ahern kennel representative B.Cole was questioned regarding the improved performance of LAGOON BEACH BOY who had finished last three days previously at Wanganui but he was unable to offer any reason. In the Stewards opinion, the incident which resulted in three other runners checking and losing several lengths assisted LAGOON BEACH BOY in finishing in 3rd place today. |
| Race 10 | Turakina Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | LITTLE BLACKSPOT was galloped on by THRILLING RUST on the first corner and lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. THRILLING RUST also lost ground in the incident and finished in 3rd last place. |
| Race 11 | Marton Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | CRYSTAL KATIE and SEDGEBROOK ELITE were slow to begin losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the 2nd half of the field. |
| Race 12 | Woodville Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | I,M NO VEGAN was slow to begin but showed early speed to be handy going into the bend and finished in 3rd place. The favourite SUMMER SPICE jumped well from the boxes but was checked back to the rear soon after but she made up ground to finish in 5th place. |
