| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305 | INTENSE ZOOM was slow to begin losing three lengths and she was then checked on the first corner and stayed back to finish in last place. HOMEBUSH EDDIE ran in sharply from the start and checked RHODA HOLMES and STILL NO WIVES who both lost ground and settled back in the field. HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was also slightly affected in the incident but recovered to win the race. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1 - C1 - 520 | HOMEBUSH WARRIOR jumped out from the start and checked RED HERRING and RUN BROADY RUN who settled at the rear. LOTTO RASPBERRY was checked on the first bend losing three lengths and she stayed at the rear for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 3 | GUTHRIE BOWRON C1 - C1 - 305 | WINSOME BOND and TIC TOC BRO were slow to begin and raced well back throughout. ADDICTED TO LOVE shifted in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH BREE who dropped back onto WINSOME BOND. The leader and eventual winner JAYDEN'S COURAGE shifted out on the home turn and made contact with CHEETAH WOODS who was making ground and he lost momentum and possibly the chance to win and he finished a close 2nd. |
| Race 4 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C0 FINAL - C0f - 520 | GREYWINDS KOBY was a little slow to begin and he then galloped on the heels of MELODY MUSE on the first corner with both dogs losing ground. MELODY MUSE recovered to finish in 3rd place with GREYWINDS KOBY staying back to finish in 6th place. HOMEBUSH DIP was held up for a few strides entering the final bend when racing inside NUTS FOR SURE but when in clear room, he finished on for 2nd place. |
| Race 5 | PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305 | ROTKARA SWIFT and HAYLEY'S WISH were slow to begin and ROTKARA SWIFT then recovered to finsh in 3rd place with HAYLEY'S WISH staying back to finish in 2nd last place. The eventual winner BABY FALOU ran in at the start from box 8 and caused tightening to THRILLING JOSH, DEL TONES, GINA MAC, MINI DEAN and POLLY'S PRINCESS who was the most affected and she went back to last and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 6 | OFFICEMAX C1 - C1 - 305 | JUST TOM and HORSE POWER were slow to begin losing three lengths and HORSE POWER then shifted in on the first corner and checked JUST TOM who lost three lengths in the incident but did make up ground for 4th place. CAWBOURNE TINA wanted to race away from the rail and made contact with RUN FOR LLEYTON for several strides in the race to the first corner and they both eventually checked losing all chance and finished at the rear. |

| Race 8 | KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520 | MUM KNOWS JACK ran in from the start and checked ERIC'S SONG and CATCH A PENNIE who lost ground and settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH BROCK shifted in on the first corner and checked SHEZ RATBAG who went back to last and SUMMER SPICE was also hindered in the incident. Soon after, SUMMER SPICE had to check across the heels of MUM KNOWS JACK and lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place. |
| Race 9 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C1 - C1 - 305 | The favourite PARRA SPARRA drew box 8 and was forced to race out a little wide over extra ground and finished in 3rd place. HOMEBUSH BAZIL was checked and fell on the first corner and PURE FURY and HOMEBUSH CINDY also lost ground and all chance in the incident. HOMEBUSH BAZIL was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 10 | BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C1 - C1 - 305 | EZY INFO was handy enough on the bend but was checked and lost two lengths and the chance of a first three placing. SECRET CHLOE ran wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place. |
| Race 11 | MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | ASTRO DAVE escaped from the stirrup area after slipping its collar and running for some distance on concrete before being captured. ASTRO DAVE was examined by the Vet and declared a late scratching due to pad injuries and was stood down for 14 days. The handler Rory Hynam was questioned by a Steward and advised to excercise more care when placing the collar on a dog but due to his relative inexperience, no further action was considered necessary. The race was all clear. |
| Race 12 | WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM C2 - C2 - 305 | BOTANY ANGELA and YA GUNNA bumped together in the run to the first corner and YA GUNNA dropped back and collided with HOMEBUSH JODIE and they both lost ground and tailed the field from there to the finish. |
