Into the bend OKUKU OLLIE ran out from the rail when leading resulting in LADY McCRACKEN being tightened when JOHNNIE GEORGE improved around these two. Soon after LADY McCRACKEN ran wide into the path of JET SPARK who was checked as a result. |

In the run to the bend CULVIE CORGI ran outwards forcing THRILLING HALE into the path of RULEBOOK RAY and SISSI before SISSI was struck from behind by THRILLING CYBIL. Soon after RULBOOK RAY moved down to the rail tightening THAT'S BIZAAR. |

| Race 5 | ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1 - 457 | SERAPHINE JEWEL ran in at the jump tightening WITCHALICIOUS and MALROY. LIGHTENING FEVER ran out into the bend taking GUY BAXTER wide who was then struck from behind by CAWBOURNE OCKY. WITCHALICIOUS then ran outwards taking LIGHTENING FEVER wide around the bend. LIGHTENING FEVER was vetted after the event and found to have a fractured left hind toe with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C1 - 390 | Both BOMBAY TRAM and FLASH TRAV were slow to jump. LADY PARKA was tightened by ROYAL RODNEY into the bend before ROYAL RODNEY ran very wide around the bend and into the home straight. |
| Race 7 | SGRC STAMINA PLUS POWDER - C3 - 390 | HOMEBUSH LENNY ran out on jumping to collide with WATERHOUSE. WHITE PHOSPHORUS ran wide into the bend settling last. |

| Race 9 | $25 YARD MUZZLE STAKES - C3/4 - 457 | The starter reported that there was a lack of air to activate the lids after the first line of dogs had been loaded away. Permission was granted by Stewards for those dogs to be removed, however handlers elected to leave then loaded away with the second line loaded 20 seconds later after air pressure was applied. The lids opened without incident. CAWBOURNE STARS was tightened by REAL SLIM SHADY who ran inwards soon after the jump. In the run to the bend WODSTON BOBO moved down to the rail checking PRETTY GOOD, FANCY DIVER and REAL SLIM SHADY. |
| Race 10 | $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C2 - 457 | BRASSED OFF and SLIGHTLY AMAZING were slow to jump. CAWBOURNE INDY ran in sharply on jumping tightening RED TIGER and WHY WHY DELILAH. GEM'S LAST checked out off the heels of CAWBOURNE INDY into the bend. |
| Race 11 | SGRC BOUNCE B POWDER - C4 - 390 | VAMPIRES SHADOW was slow to jump. BILLYBOY RAY ran in after jumping tightening BOB BAXTER and FREDDIE BAXTER. Into the bend REDDY BOY moved around CAWBOURNE SHOT forcing FREDIE BAXTER and BOB BAXTER wide before BOB BAXTER faultered losing ground. He then jumped to the infield running across to the pull up area where he was retrieved. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured right hock resulting in euthanasia on humane grounds. VAMPIRES SHADOW was also vetted and found with split webbing and a dislocated left hind toe with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
