| Race 8 | Mickey's Super Liquor - SPECA - 305 | One of the better supported runners CATCH A DREAM jumped on terms with other dogs but was then checked back to last. She was then forced four wide into the bend and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 9 | NZRS Distance Final - NZRSdf - 755 | GIRL CHARM was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed at the rear until the final bend where she went around the field to finish in 2nd place. DANGLE THE CARAT was slightly checked and lost a length on the first corner when SHEZA RATBAG moved in. DANGLE THE CARAT quickly recovered to go on and win the race with ease in track record time. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C 4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | The well supported WINSOME OPAWA was a little slow to begin and was then awkwardly placed between SANTA SLOY and KAZZ RAZZ in the race to the first corner. WINSOME OPAWA was then checked on the first corner when avoiding the heels of SANTA SLOY and he never recovered from these incidents and finished in 5th place. |

ROTKARA MOMENTS was checked on the bend and dropped back to finish in last place. |
