Judicial report: PEEKABOO POPPY who was examined by the Vet at Wanganui on 04.02.11 and a 10 day stand down was recommended due to a skinned pad and pain in a tricep muscle but was subsequently stood down for 28 days for a breach of the non pursuit Rule no 80.1 b, was rexamined under Rule 80.4 on this day. The Vets examination revealed injuries to both quadricep muscles requiring a 28 day stand down and as a result the stand down under Rule 80.1 b was rescinded and PEEKABOO POPPY is now stood down for 28 days due to those quadricep injuries.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	BREAKING MELODY and MELODY MUSE collided on the home turn with both losing ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 375	CLANG AND BANG, HOMEBUSH TINA, THRILLING BOSS and MILLIE SWANSON were all severely checked on the first corner losing all chance of a first three placing with THRILLING BOSS and MILLIE SWANSON being the most affected in the incident.
Race 3	Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375	WHO'S YA DUFFER began awkwardly losing ground but ran on to finish in 5th place.
Race 4	Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	SWITCH FORWARD and ERIC'S SONG collided on jumping from the boxes but recovered quickly to race in prominent positions into the bend. RUN TESS RUN ran very wide on the bend and into the straight and she finished in last place.
Race 5	Cloverlea Dash C2 - C2 - 375	WHERE'S WALLY checked off the heels of BLACK IS BACK and lost ground on the first corner. Soon after OPTICAL MAN galloped on the back of CAWBOURNE MADGE and moved out causing a check to WHERE'S WALLY and these three dogs finished at the rear.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Dash C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	FAST PAUSE began well but then drifted out to finish several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a gracilus muscle injury. NONNA'S GIRL and LIL'LARRIKIN were disputing the lead on the home turn but NONNA'S GIRL bumped LIL'LARRIKIN who was pushed wide and this possibly cost her a closer placing than 3rd. LIL' LARRIKIN suffered a claw injury and was stood down for 14 days.
Race 7	Woodville Stakes C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	PEPPER LICIOUS ran out from the start and checked BUDDY BROKE who lost a little ground. I'M NO VEGAN checked across the heels of PEPPER LICIOUS as they entered the home straight and he lost momentum and finished in 5th place.
Race 8	Riverdale Sprint C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	FLASH ENFORCER, ROADMAN'S SHACK, WINSOME JAMES, BOTANY ANGELA and JAYDEN'S COURAGE jostled together going into the bend and they all lost varying amounts of ground.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Sprint C4 - C4 - 375	TURF MOOR and ERIC PHOENIX bumped together for a few strides on the bend losing ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	REALON RHAPSODY was checked and fell heavily on the first corner and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 11	Marton Dash C5 - C5 - 375	WINSOME FREDDY was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. OCTANE SPARK checked over the heels of CLAN DOUGLAS on the first corner and lost four lengths and CLAN DOUGLAS also lost a little ground in the incident. CLAN DOUGLAS began to drop back soon after and pulled up in the home straight and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with an injury to a phalangeal joint.
Race 12	Turakina Stakes C3 - C3 - 457	This race started 5 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. One of the better supported runners SITE AN EXCUSE settled near the rear and he ran a little wide into the straight and finished in 6th place.
