Judicial report: CAWBOURNE BEAR, a scratching in Race 12, was scratched free of penalty under Rules 64.2 and 64.5 after Trainer J Udy reported to the Stewards that the dog while staying at another Trainers residence had managed to get into the house and possibly digested some coffee in the week of the races.

Race 1	Ashford Boarding Kennels and Cattery Sprint - C4 - 318	VALIDICTION was last to jump. QUIET JOURNEY wanted to run outwards in the early stages and tightened WHAT'S SHE PAYNE and LUCKY STREAK on her outer. Favourite CHIVERTON came together with WILD FLYNN in the run down the back and lost some momentum. QUIET JOURNEY continued to race wider into the bend and came together with KID KOONAWARRA into the bend with QUIET JOURNEY losing ground.
Race 2	www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318	Favourite IMAGINATION, BIG LASS and PAMPEST were all slow to jump. TOP CAT was badly tightened and checked in the early stages and dropped to the rear. ASK SIX was tightened into the bend and ran outwards pushing BIG LASS over extra ground.
Race 3	Carols TABS Stakes - C2/3 - 527	WINSOME BUSTER came up with the lids and lost many lengths. OSTI'S RUBY ran inwards checking TONY CAN'T GO into the first bend. On the bend ASCENDING FORCE crossed from its outside draw on to JETSUN GENES who bady checked REGENT DYNAMITE on its inner. JETSUN GENES was then badly dragged down and leapfrogged by BOON DOCK with JETSUN GENES falling. The dog stood on the track dazed and was captured by Raceday Vet Joan Hessell. A post race veterinary check of JETSUN GENES revealed left gluteal soreness and left calf soreness with a twenty eight day stand down recommended.
Race 4	Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C2 - 318	BARALLEN and ON MY MIND were the slowest to jump. CAWBOURNE MADZ was keen to get to the inside in the run down the back straight checking WEE PING DOLL who lost ground. Into the bend WEE PING DOLL checked outwards off FAIR MOVIN for a stride. TONY CAN'T GO checked off the back of WINSOME BUSTER into the bend and lost momentum.
Race 5	Magness Benrow Sprint - C5 - 318	BUT WHY NOT was tightened in the run down the back and then checked outwards off PUNK SCOOTER into the bend losing ground.
Race 6	Thornton Auctions Stakes - C1 - 527	PARNELL MIST and ICHI NI were slow to jump. In the early stages DECADENT ran outwards and collided with PARNELL MIST at the same time as ICHI NI was crossing from their outside. This resulted in ICHI NI being turned sideways and losing ground. ICHI NI then checked outwards off RETSINA into the bend and contacted PARNELL MIST who lost ground. RUN FOR US ran outwards in the back straight dictating the line of LADY LAHKSMI for some distance and continued to do so on the home bend marring that runner. Co-Trainer Tracy Steele reviewed the video with Stewards and confirmed that she admitted the charge with the dog consequently being suspended for 28 days under Rule 80.1.a. and having to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 7	$15,000 Pick6 Sprint - C3 - 318	All clear.
Race 8	Bethells Farmstay For Dogs On Facebook Stakes - C1 - 527	BUCCAN ROAD was sandwiched and badly checked between LOOSE GENIUS and THRILLING MAVIS pulling up on that bend. A post race veterinary check revealed a strained right hock with a twenty eight day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Auckland Co-op Taxis Sprint - C1 - 318	ALLBLACK ENFORCE and THRILLING SIMONE came together for a stride soon after the jump. BIT OF VISION ran inwards soon after this with HOMEBUSH TUI receiving a check and losing ground. Into the bend ALLBLACK ENFORCE checked outwards off THRILLING SIMONE and pushed HOMEBUSH TUI very wide with both dogs losing their chances. WORLD CUP MISS ran outwards from behind MOODY MAN in the home straight and lost some momentum.
Race 10	Magic Sprite Stakes - C4/5 - 527	WINSOME FLASH was very slow to jump. On the home bend CORE POWER checked outwards sharply off HAILEY'S AGENT and into the path of MINT OCTANE who was severely checked. WIZARD APPEAL and WINSOME FLASH also were badly checked in this incident. A post race veterinary check of MINT OCTANE revealed a right long head triceps injury with a twenty one day stand down recommended. CORE POWER was found to have a right hind vein rupture with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 11	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C5 - 318	ELITE LUKE was slow to jump. KISSIN KATE ran outwards in the back straight inconveniencing MATES UNITE and ROLLED OATS for a few strides. In behind them ELITE LUKE and TO THE CREST were both tightened and lost ground as ONE TOUGH COOKIE crossed from their outside.
Race 12	Jacks Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	FRIZZLE FRAZZLE was very slow to jump. Into the bend WINSOME KELLY ran inwards and JULIE MAY ran outwards with SO DEEP and ELLY'S GIRL receiving severe checks in behind. WINSOME KELLY fell at this point while a few metres after FRIZZLE FRAZZLE jumped on the back of JULIE MAY causing her to fall as well. Post race veterinary checks of WINSOME KELLY and JULIE MAY revealed left adductor pain for WINSOME KELLY and right deltoid soreness for ELLY'S GIRL with fourteen day stand downs recommended for both dogs.
