Track: Good The weighing scales again proved to be unreliable and some dogs in the later part of kennelling were not able to be weighed. The Club Management have now obtained a new set of scales and these will be installed and in use at the next meeting.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	THRILLING SMIRK shifted out on the bend and checked RYBENBROOK JOSH who lost two lengths and was pushed wide but recovered to win the race.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 375	THRILLING BOSS and LADY MCCRACKEN both ran in sharply from the start and collided with RHODA HOLMES who lost a little ground. LITTLE RIVER began awkwardly and lost three lengths and he then ran very wide on the bend and finished several lengths last.
Race 3	Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375	LEVERAGE ran in soon after the start and checked OH LORDY who dropped out to last and stayed well back throughout. CLASSY HOLLY was checked on the first corner and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 4	Foxton Dash C1 - C1 - 375	SEDGEBROOK LEE checked off the heels of LISSADELL REBEL on the first corner and shifted out forcing TONY'S PEDRO very wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight and she finished several lengths last.
Race 5	Cloverlea Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	BRUTUS FINALE was one of the best to begin but was tightened between runners on the first turn losing several lengths and he finished in last place.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Dash C3 - C3 - 375	KINGA MIKE and WINSOME DELTA collided soon after the start and settled back in the field. OUR PLAYBOY was checked on the first corner and dropped back quickly onto ASTRO DAVE and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 7	Woodville Dash C4 - C4 - 375	TURF MOOR and ERIC PHOENIX bumped together on the bend and dropped back onto HOMEBUSH JAG. ERIC PHOENIX recovered to finish in 3rd place but the other two dogs stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 8	Riverdale Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME GEM ran in from the start and caused checks to REALON RHAPSODY, CAWBOURNE DUDE, NIP TUCK and THRILLING LEWIS who all lost ground. FALKIRK FANTASY shifted in on the first corner and this resulted in checks to itself and JUST DEFY THAT with both dogs falling. CAWBOURNE DUDE then checked to avoid the fallen runners and NIP TUCK collided with CAWBOURNE DUDE and also fell. The three dogs classed as falling were all examined by the Vet and FALKIRK FANTASY was stood down for 10 days with a tensor fascia lata muscle injury, JUST DEFY THAT was stood down for 5 days with bruising over the lumbar region and NIP TUCK was stood down for 10 days with pectoral muscle injuries.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway C5 - C5 - 375	THRILLING RUST moved out from the rail on the first corner and inconvenienced ROUGH ENFORCER for a few strides and that runner dropped back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	One of the favourites FREDDY JOHN was the slowest to begin and he then had to check off the back of PURE DREAMER on the first corner and lost further ground. He was observed to be making up ground thereafter and finished in 5th place.
Race 11	Marton Dash C2 - C2 - 375	HOMEBUSH WIGGLE and THRILLING ALI were checked on the first corner and both lost ground.
Race 12	Turakina Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	LOTTO RASPBERRY was handy to the lead on the first corner but was checked and fell and BUDDY BROKE was also checked and classed as a faller. SINGLE SCULLER also checked and lost all chance. LOTTO RASPBERRY and BUDDY BROKE were examined by the Vet and both were cleared of injury.
