Judicial report: Trainer P SEQUE was charged with a breach of Rule 71.4 as a result of failing to fulfil his agreement to catch BLACK SHELLEEN at the conclusion of Race 10. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $50.00.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the late kennelling of GENISTA ROCKET by trainer J DUNN during the 2nd specified kennelling time.

Race 1 George Thomas Memorial - C3 - 295 WHERE'S JOHN CEE ran outwards after the jumping colliding with TORQUED UP who was forced out onto ELITE BAXTER with both losing ground. WHERE'S JOHN CEE ran out again into the bend colliding with WHERE'S MY SEAT with both losing ground and forcing ELITE BAXTER wide.
Race 2 Bill Kingston Memorial - C4 - 295 The favourite KNOW RIVAL lost ground when scrambling awkwardly from box 1 settling a clear last. Into the bend BOTANY ANN was checked when tightened by CAWBOURNE SHOT. Around the bend CAWBOURNE CLICK moved down to the rail tightening and checking BELFAST MUNCHA who came back on BOTANY ANN and CAWBOURNE SHOT, these two losing ground.
Race 3 Dave Davies Memorial - C2 - 295 COOL GALAXY ran outwards after the jump and into the bend tightening MEANDER who was checked coming back on MULBERRY RECO and OPAWA CARLA.
Race 4 Jackie McLay Memorial - C1 - 520 BOTANY GARETH was a late scratching when found to be lame as he was retrieved from his kennel for race preparation. CAWBOURNE INDY ran down to the rail after the jump tightening DUDLEY RAMA, HOMEBUSH WILD, DISTINCT IMAGE and HARD HABITS on her inner, resulting in CAWBOURNE INDY being left a clear leader. Into the back straight HOMEBUSH WILD and DUDLEY RAMA came together for a stride or two.
Race 5 Richies Coachline's Sprint - C3 - 295 KNOW INCENTIVE and PURE AND SPECIAL were slow to jump. Into the bend GENISTA COMANCHE was tightened when vying for the lead coming back sharply on KNOW INCENTIVE and PURE AND SPECIAL, with all three losing considerable ground.
Race 6 Gary Denovan Memorial - C3 - 520 CROSSFIRE MAX was slow to jump. SOFIA'S GIRL ran out off the heels of OPAWA PADLESS to come in contact with TIAN HAO SURFER before checking out off that dog into the first bend. Around the bend and into the back straight SOFIA'S GIRL checked out off the heels of SURELY YOU JEST to settle last.
Race 7 Elvin Hibbs Memorial - C5 - 295 LIAM BALE was slow to jump. Into the bend CAWBOURNE LISA was checked coming back on RON'S SECRET who lost ground. An improving LIAM BALE then collided with CAWBOURNE LISA before running outwards into the home straight forcing CAWBOURNE LISA and SUNSET BOMBER over extra ground.
Race 8 Dave Busch Memorial - C4 - 520 GUTTER BLACK was slow to jump but improved quickly tightening WHAT A MATE and SUGAR PLUM into the first bend. Around the first bend MAINLAND STAR and OPAWA SECRET collided with OPAWA SECRET forced outwards into the path of ARTHUR RITIS who was checked. OPAWA SECRET lost further ground before being struck by SUGAR PLUM who checked outwards as a result to collide with GUTTER BLACK.
Race 9 Pat Cagney Memorial - C5 - 295 LES BAXTER was slow to jump. Into the bend ICE ICE AMY and KNOW PROOF came together for a few strides when racing at the rear. LES BAXTER was vetted after the race and found to have a split web with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 10 Gerald & Lindsay Cleeve Memorial - C2 - 520 CAWBOURNE STARS ran in after the jump checking MR.MUTOLA before tightening SWEET APPEAL into the first bend. BLACK SHELLEEN was vetted after the race and found with a left calf strain with a 10 day stand down reommended.
Race 11 Colin Counsell Memorial - C5 - 520 Around the first bend OPAWA COLLAR checked out off the hindquarters of TEDDY MARCELLO to collide with TIJAN, both losing all chance.
Race 12 Ethel Sibley Memorial - C4 - 295 Into the bend PURE CHEMISTRY moved outwards onto CAWBOURNE CART who in turn forced FIREMAN'S RAFFLE into the path of TUKURUA ZAC who struck FIREMAN'S RAFFLE'S hindquarters, sustaining a check and coming back on JUST BEATRICE these two finishing at the rear as a result.
