Track: Good At the conclusion of Race 4 (1.00pm) water to the kennel block was cut off when a water main on the street feeding the suburb including Addington Raceway burst. As a result dogs were not able to be immediately watered down nor the swab dog to be watered before kenneling away. The track curator brought the water truck to the kennel block after the start of Race 5 (approximately 1.10pm) to provide water, and water was fully restored to the kennel block just prior to the start of Race 7 (1.50pm).
Scales: Correct at 25kg.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH CECIL was slow to jump. From the jump CLUTTER BUG ran outwards and collided with KNOW HELP who was turned sideways. In the run to the turn BEAT THE FOURCHE crossed over and checked the running of CHASIN' CROWS with a resulting check to SING CILLA BLACK.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Stakes - C0 - 520	SECRET FORTUNE was given permission under Rule 72.9 to box first for this meeting. FIXER MCKAY and KNOW SURPRISE were slow to jump. Into the first turn an improving OPAWA EYE clipped the rear of BRASCH and lost ground.
Race 3	Hampden Tavern Dash - C0 - 295	LITTLE RIVER was slow to jump. In the run to the turn LITTLE RIVER ran in and outwards, going very wide on the turn and losing all chances. Into the home straight OKUKU BLAZE and CALINDA came together and lost momentum.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint Final - C0f - 295	MULBERRY CHAMP was very slow to jump. Into the turn CAWBOURNE OCKY moved outwards and BOTANY ZENA crossed from the outside with GEORGIE LEE tightened and stumbling to lose ground. After the race GEORGIE LEE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. At the completion of the race water to the kennel block was lost due to a burst water mains feeding Addington Raceway. As a result, the winner of the race was unable to be put away with water and the swab was not proceeded with. The water cart was brought across to the kennel block for the following races.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 6	www.aaroncoullhearttransplant.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 295	TEPIRITA ACE and OHOKA SUMMER were slow to jump. Into the turn TEPIRITA ACE checked off the rear GO CARTER and ran outwards forcing BIG DADDY ECHO wide on the track.
Race 7	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1 - 520	JUST TEASING and MEECES TO PIECES were slow to jump. From the jump TOKEN RAGE ran sharply inwards and collided with STATE DA OBVIOUS. On the first turn STATE DA OBVIOUS and JUST TEASING came together and lost momentum. Into the home straight the early leader PRETTY GIRL ran outwards and lost ground.
Race 8	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	From the jump BOTANY TOM and FRITO BANDITO came together. Into the turn DAIMLER DAVE moved outwards and checked the running of FOGGY STORM and SOFA LOAFA, and then on the turn BAKE BEAN BETTY checked off the rear of GOT THE BEETROOT and forced SOFA LOAFA and DAIMLER DAVE very wide on the track.
Race 9	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520	SLENDER CHANCE was slow to jump.
Race 10	Wilson's Sports Bar & TAB Dash - C1 - 295	COOL JORDIE, OKUKU STAR and TEMPTING OFFER were slow to jump. Into the turn BARKING MAD ran out and forced SMASH KINGDOM wide.
Race 11	Power Farming Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520	UNDER COVER was slow to jump. In the run to the first turn as the field came together GUY BAXTER climbed into the rear of DAUNTING with both dogs falling heavily and losing all chances. A trailing UNDER COVER was severely checked by the falling dogs. Both DAUNTING and GUY BAXTER were subject to veterinary checks which revealed minor bruising requiring no stand down. On the final turn into the home straight as CAWBOURNE RAPID was vying for the lead the dog was observed to turn its head and come into contact with DUDLEY RAMA at least three times, forcing that dog wide and marring the running of that runner. A post race veterinary check of CAWBOURNE RAPID showed no injury. CAWBOURNE RAPID was charged under Rule 80.1.a with marring the running of another greyhound. After viewing the race film, co-trainer Mr A.McCook elected to admit the breach of the rule and CAWBOURNE RAPID was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295	Into the turn ROTKARA SWIFT ran outwards and checked the running of ADDICTED TO LUV who was turned sideways. MULBERRY MADAM checked out off the rear of ALL AGAINST ME and ran wide before pulling up and not completing the race. A veterinary check on MULBERRY MADAM showed the dog to have a fractured right hock and she was euthanased on humane grounds.
