Judicial report: MR SIMPLY was stood down with an injury at Manawatu on 17.01.11 and Trainer C.Morris reported that she advised Secretary Mrs Trass that the dog was out for 21.01.11 which was todays meeting of the Wellington Greyhound Club. However, Mrs Trass believed that Mrs Morris would be advising Wellington Secretay Mrs Bates but this did not take place and as a result the late scratching of MR SIMPLY only took place when Mrs Morris discovered the dog to be still in at 9.00 am on race morning. Under the circumstances, no further action was considered neccesary other than to advise Mrs Morris to advise scratchings to the Secretary of the Club conducting the meeting.

Race 2	Anglo Upholsterers Ltd - C4 - 305	CRYSTAL KATIE was slow to begin losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH NELSON and SEDGEBROOK ELITE were checked and lost ground on the first corner.
Race 3	Thornton Auctions-Penrose - C1 - 305	HAYLEY'S WISH was slow to begin losing a couple of lengths. GROOVY SHANE was checked on the bend and dropped back onto HOMEBUSH DIGBY who also lost ground.
Race 4	Cafe' Cibo - Upper Hutt - C2/3 - 520	All clear.
Race 5	Commercial Plumbing - Auckland - C1/2 - 305	KINGA RYAN shifted in racing to the first corner and crowded WIND CHIMES, HAPPY CLAPPY and CATCH A DREAM who all lost ground. CATCH A DREAM moved out soon after and checked SYDENHAM PRETTY who lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 6	The Brownzy Sports Bar - C2 - 305	WHERE'S WALLY was a little slow to begin and was then checked near the first corner when KINGA MIKE shifted in towards the rail. WHERE'S WALLY then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 6th place. UPAHUT CRYSTAL and HOMEBUSH WIGGLE bumped together in the run to the first corner and UPAHUT CRYSTAL dropped back onto VIOLET JAZZ who lost ground.
Race 7	Gold Band Finance - C3 - 305	One of the better supported runners ACHEW ACHEW was the slowest away from box 8 and he then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 2nd last place. FAST PAUSE was handy on the bend but was checked, went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 8	Opawa Racing Ltd - C4/5 - 520	KAZZ RAZZ ran in from the start and checked OPAWA GEM and FALKIRK FANTASY who settled back. KAZZ RAZZ continued to move in and with a circuit to run, FALKIRK FANTASY was again checked and went into the bend at the rear with OPAWA GEM and they finished in the 2nd half of the field.
Race 9	Wellington Championship Sprint Heats - C5q - 305 Heat 1	LOWS AND HIGHS lost ground going into the first corner when racing between runners and went back to last but ran on to finish in 6th place. The Stewards were concerned with the dogs performance and its future races will be monitored. The winner SCOTT NO WIVES suffered a fractured bone above the hock soon after passing the winning post and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days.
Race 10	Wellington Championship Sprint Heats - C5q - 305 Heat 2	ROTKARA MOMENTS was checked on the first corner and lost a little ground.
