Track: Good The lures, rail and lure control boxes had undergone rigorous testing since the last meeting here with no problems reported today.

Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: S Payne the Trainer of THRILLING KITE was fined $100.00 under the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when the dog was produced 1.7kgs under her last race weight on 6 January 2011. An inquiry was opened into an altercation between Handler S Mann and Trainer K Madden. This will be referred to the Racecourse Inspector for further action. Trainer D Dunn was warned to exercise more care after his dog escaped in the carpark.

Race 1	Welcome To Cambridge Sprint - C0 - 375	FANCY MILLY ran outwards into the bend checking HICCUP who lost ground and ASK SIX who was forced wider around that bend.
Race 2	Fond Foods LTD Sprint - C1 - 375	THRILLING KITE was slow to jump. Into the bend PLASMAH ran outwards into the line of SAMBO WARRIOR who was then forced wider and badly dragged down and brought to a standstill by THRILLING KITE. SAMBO WARRIOR failed to complete the course with a post race veterinary check revealing multiple grazes with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Lichfield Kennels Sprint - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 4	Stephen Marsh Racing Sprint - C1 - 375	FRIZZLE FRAZZLE came up with the lids and lost many lengths and then ran wide for the majority of the race. SOHO PRINCE was checked back to the rear soon after the jump. ELLY'S GIRL checked outwards on the first bend losing some momentum.
Race 5	The Straw Warehouse LTD Sprint - C4 - 375	FANCY SPIDER and TRIPLE TEE were slowest to jump. SEELEY BOOTH ducked out sharply into the bend checking KID KOONAWARRA with TRIPLE TEE and LOCHINVAR PRINCE also losing ground at this point.
Race 6	SimpliFood Sprint - C5 - 375	DARK CAVALIER ran outwards in the early stages. Into the bend SHARMANS MAGIC and THRILLING ALERT came together wide on the track.
Race 7	John Lamont Contracting LTD Sprint - C3 - 375	ROADMAN'S SHACK was last to jump. Into the bend CORNWALL ROAD ran outwards pushing SPRING TYDE wider. She was then taken down from behind by ROADMAN'S SHACK with SPRING TYDE dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of SPRING TYDE revealed no injury.
Race 8	0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C5 - 457	THRILLING DARLS ran outwards soon after the jump tightening HAILEY'S AGENT, FANCY STEP and ASTON RED. Soon after ASTON RED received a further check as HAILEY'S AGENT ducked outwards with ASTON RED dropping to the rear.
Race 9	General Engravers Sprint - C1 - 375	SHARKIE'S DREAM and JELLYSTONE PARK were both slow to jump.
Race 10	YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C1 - 457	BINGO STARR came up with the lids settling last. ICED UP was checked on two occasions in the back straight when racing in behind the pacemaking FANCY GIRL. A post race veterinary check of ICED UP revealed no injury. The stewards looked closely at the closing stages of the race in relation to the performance of ICED UP who just made the lead half way down the straight but was headed by FANCY GIRL in the final stages. From the side on view it seemed that FANCY GIRL had shifted slightly off the rail in the straight and possibly brushed with ICED UP causing this runner to be unbalanced for a stride close to the line although without a head on view this could not be confirmed. The racing manners of ICED UP will be closely monitored in upcoming starts.
Race 11	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C1 - 457	PARNELL MIST and ICHI NI collided soon after the jump losing ground. Into the bend CAWBOURNE SNOWY ran outwards coming together with ICHI NI for a stride. The winner THRILLING GRIZZ ran wide on the home turn losing ground but once balanced ran on strongly to take the win.
Race 12	Presland Tocker Insurance Services Stakes - C2/3 - 457	STRIKE ONCE ran outwards at the jump checking NO HELP INDEED for a stride. WINSOME BUSTER was tightened at the end of the back straight when attempting to improve between runners and lost some momentum. WINSOME BUSTER ran on well for third.
