Race 1 ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305 STILL NO WIVES was checked on the first corner when making contact with HARMONY BAXTER. Soon after, HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was checked back onto STILL NO WIVES and both lost groiund.
Race 2 HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 520 All clear.
Race 3 GUTHRIE BOWRON C1 - C1 - 305 SINGLE SCULLER moved out slightly on the first corner and caused checks to PEACE ICON and URUTI STORM who both lost ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 4 CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 305 ROTKARA SWIFT moved in at the start and checked BOTANY TOM who settled in last place but then recovered well to finish in 2nd place. Soon after CAPTAIN RICKY shifted out and this resulted in minor checks to ROTKARA SWIFT and HOMEBUSH HIFI. ROTKARA SWIFT shifted in on the first corner and checked FUNNY HAHA, CAPTAIN RICKY and the favourite KINGA COOP and they lost all chance and finished at the rear.
Race 5 PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305 CRYSTAL SAL shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to HOMEBUSH CECIL, PINTA GUINNESS, HOMEBUSH LOYAL and GAZZA'S PRIDE who fell and she was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6 OFFICEMAX C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 The favourite BUDDY BROKE was a little slow to begin and was then checked on the first corner and again on the final bend and he finished in 3rd last place.
Race 7 GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1 - 305 IMA SPICE was a little slow to begin and was then racing in tight quarters soon after and clipped the heels of THRILLING IRIS and fell and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with bruising. IMA ROYAL was checked in the incident and stayed well back from there to the finish. WINSOME KELLY shifted out on the first turn and checked HOMEBUSH CINDY who lost four lengths.
Race 8 BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C2 - C2 - 305 All clear.
Race 9 MEDIA WORKS C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 ALL ABOUT DOSH shifted out and PRINCESS SNOWY shifted in running to the first corner and this resulted in JAYDEN'S COURAGE and PSYCHOTIC being tightened and losing ground.
Race 10 Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 Final - C1f - 520 WHO'S YA DUFFER was very slow to begin losing several lengths but he made up ground very well to finish in 3rd place. THRILLING ANNIE was bumped and pushed wide into the first bend and as she shifted back in, she made firm contact with EXCUSE A VISION with both dogs losing several lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 11 MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C1 - C1 - 305 SEDGEBROOK LEE and SPIN A TITLE were slow to begin losing three lengths. SEDGEBROOK LEE recovered and with a clear rails run, he ran on well for 2nd place with SPIN A TITLE staying back to finish in the rear group. HE'S A LION and HOMEBUSH KELLY were handy to the lead on the bend but HE'S A LION ran wide forcing HOMEBUSH KELLY over extra ground and they finished at the rear.
