| Race 2 | WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C0 - 457 | Both FIXER McKAY and KNOW CHANGE were slow to jump. Into the bend MOREPORT SHANNON moved down to the rail into the path of LADY McCRACKEN resulting in her clipping heels and losing ground. |
| Race 3 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C1 - 390 | BOMBAY TRAM moved off the rail soon after the start tightening THAT'S BIZAAR. THAT'S BIZAAR lost ground coming back on THRILLING PEACH who lost momentum. Into the straight CRASH GYBE endeavoured to improve between THAT'S BIZAAR and PEGSON FIRE sustaining a check when colliding with THAT'S BIZAAR. Just past the finish line BOMBAY TRAM ran down into the line of MYRA BEE who stumbled before being hit by a fast finishing CRASH GYBE. MYRA BEE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a bruised left hind toe with a 5 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 4 | BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C1 - 457 | DOGGER BANK was slow to jump and when improving into the bend struck the hindquarters of MARLENE'S GIRL. Approaching the home turn LENNY'S FORTUNE checked outwards off the heels of MARLENE'S GIRL coming in contact with WARRIOR WIKI before checking out off that dog's heels running very wide into the home straight. MARLENE'S GIRL was subject to a veterinary check which revealed lameness in the left hind leg with a 5 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390 | HOMEBUSH KALAMA ran in after the jump tightening ROYAL RODNEY and OZARK'S COVER. Into the bend OKUKU BOMBER and TOWER came together for a number of strides. |

Into the bend RULEBOOK RAY tightened FANCY WAYS and LADY PARKA on his inner. Into the straight GENISTA TORNADO ran down into the path of RULEBOOK RAY who checked outwards as a result losing ground. |

AWESOME BENDER came in contact with CAWBOURNE JAKE when improving between dogs around the bend. An improving WICHITA LINEMAN checked out off ARTHUR RITIS into the straight. |

| Race 9 | Group 2 Far South Challenge Heats - C5q - 457 Heat 3 | WHAT A MATE was tightened by LILETTE BALE into the bend. Soon after BENJI LAFOURCHE moved outwards colliding with MUSTARD FUDGE who was forced into the running line of WATMOUGH. WATMOUGH clipped the heels of MUSTARD FUDGE losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Group 2 Far South Challenge Heats - C5q - 457 Heat 4 | TEDDY MARCELLO ran in sharply after the jump checking CYNTHIA BAXTER, IT'S HAPPY HOUR and SUGAR PLUM. SUGAR PLUM and CYNTHIA BAXTER continued to come together in the run to the bend when racing at the rear. Into the bend MILLIE'S ME MUM crossed to the rail in front of HOMEBUSH REECE who clipped heels and fell. MAMAJA and WINSOME OPAWA were both slightly checked as a result with TEDDY MARCELLO running over the fallen dog. HOMEBUSH REECE regained his feet and finished the event. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 11 | 100% SELECTRIX - C1 - 457 | Both LIGHTNING FEVER and MIGHTY PROPHET were slow to jump. PREMIER HARRY ran in onto PRETTY GIRL into the bend. MIGHTY PROPHET improved around the bend colliding with LIGHTNING FEVER who was forced out onto SISSI. Into the straight MIGHTY PROPHET collided with SOPHISTICATED who was pushed out onto PREMIER HARRY, both losing ground. |
