| Race 1 | B & P Engineering - Upper Hutt C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | The favourite CHINESE GIRL was the slowest to begin from box 8 and was then bumped on the first corner losing ground and she finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | Cafe' Cibo - Upper Hutt C1 - C1 - 305 | FANCY EEL ran in from the start and bumped BOND ECLIPSE onto BIGTIME LUCKY who lost several lengths. FANCY EEL then moved in on the first corner and caused checks to HOMEBUSH JONAH and BOND ECLIPSE who both lost ground. Soon after BOND ECLIPSE and BIGTIME LUCKY collided and they never recovered and finished jin the rear group. WIND CHIMES was handy on the bend but checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH KELLY losing three lengths and the chance of a closer placing than 4th. |
| Race 3 | Gold Band Finance C2 - C2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH DUSTY ran in from the start and checked HAPPY CLAPPY who stumbled and settled near the rear and stayed back throughout. LOONEY LEE was away well and handy on the bend but shifted out and checked over the heels of UPAHUT CRYSTAL and dropped out to finish several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 4 | Commercial Plumbing-Auckland C1 - C1 - 520 | TIZA FEVER and GO BOOF collided soon after the start and again on the first bend and they settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish. EXCUSE A VISION was checked losing four lengths entering the back straight and she never recovered. |
| Race 5 | Thornton Auctions - Penrose C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | PSYCHOTIC was checked at the start when tightened between SEDGEBROOK ELITE and LIL'LARRIKIN and he went back to last. MISSY OCTANE was very handy on the first corner but was checked when SEDGEBROOK ELITE moved in and she went back to last and finished in that position. |

| Race 7 | Peter Sinclair Photos Restricted Age Feature - R/A - 520 | JUST DEFY THAT and BOTANY BARB collided on the first corner and JUST DEFY THAT shifted out and collided with SIXTY TWENTY who was forced very wide into the first bend with all three runners losing ground and they finished in the last three places. |

MY JACK ATTACK shiifted in on the first corner and checked SCAMPER CLAIR and SCOTT NO FUNDING who both lost ground. |

| Race 10 | Anglo Upholsterers C5 - C5 - 305 | MAGICATE, CAWBOURNE MO and MISS ARKANSAS raced tightly together in the run to the first corner and jostled for a few strides and settled at the rear. |
| Race 11 | Cesarina Scott-Marson Memorial 2 - SPECA - 305 | SORRY VANDERFORD and CRYSTAL KATIE were both slow to begin and lost ground. BIGTIME SURVIVOR showed a tendency to race away from the rail and he was checked losing four lengths near the first turn when CAPTAIN CARLOS and CLAN DOUGLAS moved in closer to the rail. |
| Race 12 | Middle Distance Final - NZRSf - 520 | FREDDY JOHN checked over the heels of BOTANY MATTHEW on the first corner and ran very wide over extra ground but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. WINSOME OPAWA and KAZZ RAZZ led to the first corner but they bumped together and KAZZ RAZZ was the most affected and dropped back causing a check to ULTIMATE DREAM who lost ground but recovered well to finish in 2nd place. KAZZ RAZZ drifted out to finish in last place. |
