Judicial report: An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to the circumstances regarding JOSHIE'S GIRL being declared a late scratching in race 8.
HONEY BOUND had been stood down for 28 days under Rule -80.1b for failing to pursue and required to undergo a satisfactory trial under Rule 81

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	BINTY FLAHERTY, RHODA HOLMES and SLIM JIM came together soon after the start and jostled for several strides. On the point of the top turn BODHRAN CAILIN ran up on the heels of SLIM JIM with both these dogs losing a bit more ground at that point
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 520	In the run down to the first turn WHERE:S THE KEYS came out on to GINA MAC causing this dog tolose her footing and fall ,GINA MAC recovered her feet and ran across the track and raced the lure around from inside the fence and was sent for a vet check SEEING EXCUSES(fav) was observed to change strides several times across the top bend and was going backwards before the home turn he looked to be racing erraticly for some reason, he was sent for a vet check and was found to have his muzzle stuck in his teeth which would account for his running and poor finish, no other abnormalities were found no stand down imposed . SEEING EXCUSES shied and went outwards for a stride as GINA MAC was heading his way over to chase the lure as they turned in, The stewards after extensivly reviewing the film are of the opnion that the incident during this race did not affect the chances of this dog filling a dividend bearing placing SMASH BANG WIN did take a very momentery glance at the dog on the inside of the track turning in as Gina Mac turned to chase the lure, however it was always chasing hard to the line and no further action was considered by the stewards for this due to the circumstances. After reviewing the running of the race and assessing the running of the field the stewards are of the opinion that the field chased the lure with commitment and cleared the race for payout
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	In the run in to the first turn CAWBOURNE WAYNE shortened stride and ran out in to the path of CAWBOURNE SNEAKY and LOTTO RASPBERRY causing them to check and race wide in to the back straight CAWBOURNE WAYNE continued to drift throughtout the running and was sent for a vet check where he was found to have pain on flexion of right wrist with a 21 day stand down reccomended MANLY MAGIC shortened stride as they raced to the end of the back straight and broke down as they raced across the top bend ,he pulled up at the home turn and was taken off for vetting where he was found to have suffered a broken right hock and was humanly ethanased THRILLING DEVIL was a late scratching at kenelling with a swollen pad with what may have been an insect bite of some type on the journey down to Wanganui
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C1 - C1 - 305	As the field raced down to the first turn there was tightning to IMA ROYAL, WIND CHIMES, HOMEBUSH KELLY as CRYSTAL SAL came across followed by HOMEBUSH LOYAL who tightened them more resulting in IMA ROYAL being shunted back to the rear ,however he recovered well to finish in 2nd position at the line
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	In the run down to the first turn TARGET HAND came across on to THRILLING ANNIE and RED HERRING causing them to check ,followed by BUDDY BROKE who ran up on the inside of TARGET HAND and HOMEBUSH SHEDAN pushing these dogs wide around the first bend HONEY BOUND was only fairly away from an inside draw was observed to fail to pursue the lure when pulling out of a gap and did not pursue with commitment there afterfinishing in last placing at the line, she was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found ,has been stood sdown for 28 days for failing to pursue There was no photo finish avaliable for this race off raceday photo finish
Race 6	OFFICE MAX C1 - C1 - 305	SPIN A TITLE went up with the lids and lost several lengths and ran on to midfield at the line
Race 7	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	KNOCK 'EM DOWN (fav) was handy in the early run ,then was observed to be uncomfortable in his action ,he dropped back to the rear and finished a poor last position at the line ,he was sent for a vet check and was found a left stifle sprain with a 14 day stand down recommended NATHAN OPAWA, FLOATING AWAY and MY BAD JONNY came together for several strides in the run down to the first turn.
Race 8	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C1 - C1 - 305	DEL TONES stood in the boxes missing the start by approx 5 lengths which may have cost her a closer finish in this small field JOSHIES GIRL declared a late scratching due to the club missing the message left by the trainer on the 7.1.2011 this matter will be adressed by the stewards.
Race 9	MEDIA WORKS C1 - C1 - 305	UPAHUT WITCH was well away from the start ,was soon tightened up on the fence as HEALING CRYSTAL came across causing her to run out of room being squeezed back to the rearwhere she could not get in to contention from there on in KAPITAL slipped her collar at the stir up area and went a small distance before being caught, she was vetted and cleared to start. Handler D Edlin was spoken to concerning the circumstances and her explanation was accepted on this occasion
Race 10	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C0D FEATURE - C0d - 645	SECRET CHLOE from the outside box raced very wide throuhout the race and covered an enormous extra amount of ground , ran on well late for 4th placing at the line FORGIVEN ME (fav) was away well ,soon afterwas observed to almost fall ,he recovered until the home straight 1st time when he fell picked himself up then fell again a short distance later ,he ran infield and over to the lure at the pullup ,was taken for a vet check and was found to have suffered torn ligaments around elbow and shoulder area, the dog was humanly ethanased
Race 11	KEENAN CONCRETE C2 - C2 - 305	LANSVALE SPARK(fav) was tightened and jostled in the early run down to the first turn ,racing in to the first turn LANSVALE SPARK was attempting to get to the rail and LOST FRIENDS came out on him causing him to check back off the heels of HOMEBUSH CINDY as a result of this LANSVALE SPARK made this turn awkwardly and never was able to get back in to contention from there on in, he was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnomalities were found
Race 12	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	WANDY HAKA was a late scratching for this race , Kennel Rep Mr S McInerney advised the stewards that the dog was showing signs of diarrohea soon after arriving at the track. All clear
