Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The scales were checked and adjusted prior to kenneling this morning ,however they where not reading properly early on in kenneling
The stewards were unable to get a technition back in time so there where no weights recorded for todays meeting.
Club Manager has assurred the stewards that this will be rectified before the next meeting on the 17.1.2011.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned in to the situation arising of WINSOME BOND(C1) dog being placed in the field of race 8 ahead of OUR PLAYBOY and HORSE POWER both (c2) dogs, this race being carded for class 2/3 dogs.

Race 1	AWAPUNI STAKES C0 - C0 - 457	CLUIAN MEALA was away well from midfield was soon after jostled and squeezed between ERIC'S SONG and GROOVY SHANE causing her to lose several lengths. On entering the home straight CLUAIN MEALA was observed to lose traction in the hindquarters for a couple of strides and was last to the line , was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from a right quadriceps injury with a 28 day stand down reccomended
Race 2	GEON WELLINGTON C0 - C0 - 375	HOMEBUSH LITTLE was best away from the start and led by several lengths in the early stages, then weakened as the field approached home turn and beat one runner to the line BODHRAN CAILIN had to check back off the heels of LISSADELL TOBY in the run down to the first turn ,soon after was tightened by GLENORCHY and went back to the rear and never got in to the race again finishing in last position at the line
Race 3	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS C1 - C1 - 375	CRAZY BABY raced straight across the face of the field from the jump and caused tightning to the rest of the field causing HOMEBUSH BERRY, HOMEBUSH JONAH, ULTIMATE SPICE, and FAWN ALLEGRO to suffer the worst of the interferance. CRAZY BABY was having her first run for some time and ran out of condition on the top turn finishing at the rear of the field Racing in to the first turn FAWN ALLEGRO was forced to move out suddenly to avoid the heels of KINGA COOP
Race 4	FOXTON SPRINT C1 - C1 - 375	Soon after the jump KINGA RYAN (fav)came across sharply on to KRUSSIAN, WHERE'S WALLY, BLACK DELORIAN and LISSADELL REBEL resulting in these dogs coming together and jostling for several strides, SISTER VIRTUE was also checked back as these dogs came back on her.
Race 5	CLOVERLEA DASH C1 - C1 - 375	SPIN A TITLE went up with the lids as a result lost several lengths and was never able to get in to contention from there on in. WHO'S YA DUFFER also was akwardly away from the start by a margin however made up massive ground late to finish in 2nd position at the line
Race 6	HOKOWHITU DASH C2 - C2 - 375	As the field jumped away BLACK IS BACK came out on to MOLLY DARLING who was forced over on to THRILLING ALI and PADDY BOND came in at the same time causing all these dogs to be checked for a couple of strides. As they raced down to the first turn BLACK IS BACK and THRILLING ALI came together for a few strides resulting in HOMEBUSH JODIE being shuffled back to the rear as she tried to avoid these dogs. BLACK IS BACK also went back soon after and finished in last position at the line HOMEBUSH JODIE raced wide across the top and in to the home straight ,running on well for 4th placing at the line
Race 7	WOODVILLE DASH C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	As the field raced across the top LIL'LARRKIN got on the heels of BOTANY ANGELA and went back ,then GROOVY MANGO came out on to LOOKS DECIEVING , OUR PLAYBOY and ROADMANS SHACK with these dogs all coming together for some strides.
Race 8	RIVERDALE SPRINT C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	All clear
Race 9	MANAWATU RACEWAY C4 - C4 - 375	All clear
Race 10	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	CAULDRON (fav)was well away from box 2 and got on the heels of CLAN DOUGLAS and lost ground going back on to CAWBOURNE KING who ran up on the back of CAULDRON causing him to lo miss a sride and he was not able to get back in to contention from there on in
Race 11	MARTON DASH C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	There was no head on coverage for this race On the point of the home turn BEARLY NORMAL was forced to cut out very sharply over the heels of POWERFUL ENEMY as this dog came over in to his racing line resulting in BEARLY NORMAL running into MAGICATE ,this almost stopped him in his tracks and by the time he got going again the race was over.
Race 12	TURAKINA STAKES C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	In the run down to the first turn DANCING POWER came out on to EZY INFO and on to I'M NO VEGAN a few strides on SUZY MAC came out on to FORGIVEN ME who kept on going out wider causing I'M NO VEGAN(fav) to race out wide in to and around the top bend causing him to cover extra ground ,he was not able to catch the winner MR METICULOUS in the run home
