Track: Good The photo finish camera failed during the running of the first race which resulted in race placings being determined by a portable digital camera. The problem appears to be an internal fault with the camera which will be replaced for the meeting on 7th January with one being transported over from the West Coast racing circuit.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C4 - 295	TUKURUA ZAC and MISSYS DAUGHTER were slow to jump. Into the turn CREPE MYRTLE moved outwards and checked the running of TUKURUA ZAC.
Race 2	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C3 - 295	On the turn ALBIE'S LAD ran outwards pushing KNOX wide and forcing CAWBOURNE SHOT wider on the track.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C2 - 520	On the first turn KNOW WHICH clipped the rear of FANCY DIVER who lost momentum whilst challenging for the lead and NINA'S GIRL was forced wide on the track as a result. Into the home straight LOVELY HAND was checked when FANCY DIVER ran inwards.
Race 4	The Miller Bar & Cafe Dash - C2 - 295	Into the turn BELFAST MUNCHA moved outwards and checked HOMEBUSH LENNY with resulting checks to CAWBOURNE DRAG, KNOW WONDER, LIAM TITLE and ROYAL CHARADE.
Race 5	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4 - 295	All clear.
Race 6	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C2 - 295	From the jump OHOKA DUKE ran outwards and checked INGA THE WINGA and HONOUR.
Race 7	Excelsior Sports Bar & T.A.B Stakes - C3 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295	Race start time was put back 4 minutes at the request of the TAB. REDLINE CHAOS was slow to jump. Into the turn MILLIE'S ME MUM ran outwards and checked the running of LINDSAY CLEEVE, NATALIA BALE and CAWBOURNE LORNA.
Race 9	Shirley Veterinary Centre Sprint - C3 - 295	In the run to the turn YALDHURST FLYER ran outwards and collided with BOSCA FELLA with CAWBOURNE CART forced wide.
Race 10	Canterbury O.T.B. Assn Dash - C4 - 295	From the jump DEMOGRAPHIC ran outwards and checked the running of MISS BRUGGE and RAISINS. In the run to the finish line SAFE AND SECURE took the lead short of the finish post and then appeared to shorten stride and finished second. SAFE AND SECURE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. Stewards reviewed the race video, noting that the dog had not marred the running of the winner nor turned its head and had run straight to the line After hearing explanation from the trainer Mr BC Dann he was advised that the performance of SAFE AND SECURE would be closely monitored at his next start.
Race 11	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C4 - 520	Into the first turn REDDY BOY was checked when PURE CHEMISTRY and LILETTE BALE crossed over.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C5 - 295	In the run to the turn WILD ST. TEDDY ran inwards and tightened KNOW JOY and BUSINESS TIME with a resulting check to DA BOSS.
