Judicial report: DE STAPLETON was charged with a breach of Rule 69.11 as a result of HOMEBUSH KALAMA, a starter in Race 7 weighing in 2.2kgs above his last race start weight of 28 December 2010. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $50.00 as per the NZGRA Infringment Table.
The hearing adjourned at Otago on 21 December 2010 into a charge against DE STAPLETON was reconvened. The charge was one brought under Rule 69.11 as a result of SWIP TASTIC, a starter in Race 8, weighing in 1.9kgs above his last race start weight of 07 December 2010. Inquiries by Stewards found no evidence that the weight recorded at his previous start at Southland on 07 December 2010 was incorrect. As a result STAPLETON pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $50.00 as per the NZGRA Infringment Table.

Race 1	Addington Events Centre Sprint - C1 - 295	BRUNO drifted to last after the jump before improving around the bend, colliding with HOMEBUSH NICK to finish on. MR.CAMEROON was struck from behind by HOMEBUSH NICK. Soon after LEENY TITLE was tightened by ANOTHER DRIZZLE as that dog crossed down towards the rail.
Race 2	Coaster's Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	FIXER MCKAY was slow to jump. Into the bend JET SPARK checked out off the heels of HARD HABITS to collide with WHERE'S THE KEYS resulting in a trailing SWANNOA SNIPPER running wide around the first bend.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C0 - 295	CHELLE BE BELLA was slow to jump from the inside box. Both OKUKU BLAZE and HUSKER DU were tightened soon after the jump losing ground to finish at the rear of the field. HUSKER DU was subject to a veterinary check and found free of injury.
Race 4	www.racingdogs.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW SECRET drifted to the rear soon after the jump.
Race 5	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	OPAWA THORN ran outwards from the inside box after the jump checking GOZO DANCER, HOMEBUSH NESTOR, CAWBOURNA NORMA, RULEBOOK RAY and PROTEST LINE. Around the bend HOMEBUSH NESTOR and CAWBOURNE NORMA came together when racing well back in the field.
Race 6	Yaldhurst Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	This race started 3 minute 14 seconds after race start time due to a failure with the photo finish camera. LENNY'S FORTUNE was slow to jump. Around the first bend DISTINCT IMAGE ran inwards off the heels of FOREVER WITHIN to collide with MY BLIND SIDE with checks to STATE DA OBVIOUS and LENNY'S FORTUNE.
Race 7	Pick 6 Leg 1 Dash - C1 - 295	MERMAN JEWEL and THRILLING RILEY came together into the bend both losing ground. Approaching the turn COOL'S THE TUNE struck the heels of PENIE'S FROM who lost ground as a result.
Race 8	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C2 - 520	ALCATRAZ BOY and HIGHGROVE drifted to the rear after the jump. LOVELY HAND who was handy during the running drifted out over the concluding stages of the race to finish last.
Race 9	Bill's Bar & Bistro Dash - C2 - 295	NIDDY NID, LIAM TITLE, HO HO PAREORA and DAIMLER DAVE were slow to jump. NIDDY NID improved quickly between dogs into the bend before being tightening by ROYAL CHARADE on her outer resulting in NIDDY NID being struck from behind by LIAM TITLE and falling. She regained her feet to finish the race with a veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 10	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C3/4 - 520	IN the run to the first bend MOST HAUNTED was tightened by KNOW INCENTIVE. Around the bend RED VENOM moved away from the rail onto KNOW INCENTIVE who was forced out onto KNOW QUESTION and UNION STEAM both being checked. An improving MOST HAUNTED was forced very wide as a result.
Race 11	Be Back Thursday Stakes - C4/5 - 520	SUGAR PLUM moved off the rail around the first bend forcing OPAWA PATTY wide. At the end of the back straight FIFTH EDITION checked out off the heels of WATMOUGH when tightened by that dog and into the path of SPEED TICKET who clipped FIFTH EDITION'S heels falling as a result. SPEED TICKET regained his feet and finished the race being cleared of injury at a veterinary check.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C5 - 295	WICHITA LINEMAN was slow to jump. MUSTARD FUDGE was tightened by LES BAXTER into the bend. Around the bend STARBURST STUMPY improved along the rail inside the leader CAWBOURNE LISA who was forced out onto LES BAXTER who in turn was forced out onto LIAM BALE and MUSTARD FUDGE, both running very wide into the straight.
