RED RULES ran inwards tightening MAD MEL soon after the jump with MSHINDI, FIJIAN SAM and PAMPEST also receiving interference and the latter two runners losing ground. |
| Race 2 | Bethells Farmstay For Dogs on Facebook Heat 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 2 | FRIZZLE FRAZZLE and MARTYN STREET were both slow to jump. THRILLING BEV dropped out to run last with a post race veterinary check revealing a strained right hock with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Reel-Fishin.com Stakes - C1 - 527 | SNOWIE SECRET was last to jump. Into the first bend BUCCAN ROAD was tightened and ran outwards badly checking MORE PORK and BIGTIME COWELL with all of these dogs losing their chances. |
| Race 4 | Auckland Co-op Taxis Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | JOLOKIA was last to jump. Into the bend ELLY'S GIRL was dragged down from behind when racing in tight quarters with HOMEBUSH TUI being badly checked in behind. These two dogs lost their chances with a post race veterinary check of ELLY'S GIRL revealing no injury. |
| Race 5 | Auckland Co-op Taxis Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | PLASMAH was checked soon after the jump and lost a couple of lengths. Into the bend UTAR JET ran outwards coming into contact with JULIE MAY and PLASMAH losing ground as a result. On the home bend CAWBOURNE SPEED and PLASMAH came together for a stride when at the rear. |
| Race 6 | Auckland Co-op Taxis Series Heat 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 3 | In the run down the back straight THRILLING MISS and DUNN ROBIN YOU were tightened along the inside with DUNN ROBIN YOU flicking the running rail and losing ground. Into the bend SALLY GALLY got on the heels of SAMBO WARRIOR and fell regaining her feet and completing the race. On the home turn THRILLING DOLL and ASSEGAI came together for a stride without losing ground. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on DUNN ROBIN YOU and SALLY GALLY revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | $15,000 Pick 6 Stakes - C1 - 527 | This race was delayed by two minutes due to the Veterinary Surgeon checking ELLA'S ANGEL at the start. This dog was declared a late scratching due to dehydration. Into the first bend CAWBOURNE SNOWY, OKAYS BENAYOUN and CASUAL TEA all came together with the latter two dogs losing a lot of ground and their chances. |
| Race 8 | Greyhounds North Maiden Series Heat - C0d - 603 | CORNELIUS was last to jump. ASCENDING FORCE and CUTIE TWO came together soon after the jump and settled well back. Just after the winning post the first time ASCENDING FORCE and CUTIE TWO came together for some distance as the former appeared keen to get to the rail with these two runners losing a lot of ground and tailing the field. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on both dogs with ASCENDING FORCE found to have a sprained left wrist with a seven day stand down recommended. CUTIE TWO was free of injury but when checked was found to be in season. Unfortunately no head on view was available for this race. |

| Race 10 | Magness Benrow Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | THRILLING REIGN and THRILLING ASIA were the slowest to jump. PRIDE OF SOUTH was keen to get to the outside into the first bend hampering OSTI'S RUBY for a few strides. PRIDE OF SOUTH received another check on the bend and dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 11 | Carols TABS Sprint - C2 - 318 | PEPPER LICIOUS and THRILLING SNOW were the last to jump. SHOWTIME ADDIS ran outwards and contacted with CORPORAL JONES soon after the jump. PEPPER LICIOUS ran outwards into the bend with SHOWTIME ADDIS being checked for a stride. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318 | MATILDA'S BEST was keen to run outwards down the back straight with GOLD FOR THYS, ROBOTUSSEN and NATASHA'S DUFFER all being tightened and losing ground. BOTANY SHELLEY was found to have a cut on her left hind leg requiring sutures with a ten day stand down recommended. |
