Judicial report: Kennel Steward S.Gardner and Trainer R Waite were both fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 o for negligence when the incorrect rug was placed on PEACE ICON in Race 12.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	SILVEREEN ran in from the start and bumped ELLAVA SCRAP who settled at the rear. SILVEREEN continued to move in and jostled with FUNNY HAHA for a couple of strides with both dogs losing ground. FUNNY HAHA recovered to go on and win the race with SILVEREEN back in 5th place. The Stewards showed Trainer J.Harland video film of the run of MILLIE SWANSON on the home turn and advised that they would watch the dog in future as they were concerned with MILLIE SWANSON'S concentration for a couple of strides.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 520	WALTZING FIREFLY checked off the heels of SEEING EXCUSES on the first corner and went back to last but she then made up ground for 3rd placing. ERIC'S SONG checked off the heels of IMAGE entering the back straight losing four lengths but she too made up ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C1 - C1 - 305	One of the better supported runners HAYLEY'S WISH was slow to begin and she then bumped with THRILLING RAY on the first corner and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 305	KINGA RYAN moved in on the first corner and caused checks to JOSHIE'S GIRL, HOMEBUSH BERRY, HOMEBUSH JONAH and FAWN ALLEGRO and they stayed back to finish in the last four places. KINGA RYAN also lost momentum in the incident but finshed in 2nd place.
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION - C1 - 305	SEDGEBROOK LEE went up with the box lids losing three lengths but he made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 6	OFFICEMAX C1 - C1 - 520	RED HERRING began very awkwardly losing ground and he was then checked on the first corner and moved out collideing with ASK PLEASE. Both dogs lost several lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 7	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1 - 305	GAZZA'S PRIDE shifted out on the first corner and checked THRILLING DOLL and EZY INFO. GAZZA'S PRIDE continued out and forced EZY INFO wide over extra ground and she finished in last place. HOMEBUSH HIFI and HOMEBUSH KELLY were checked on the bend losing a couple of lengths.
Race 8	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C3 - C3 - 305	BOTANY ANGELA moved in approaching the first corner and tightened HOMEBUSH JAG against the rail with both runners losing several lengths. Several strides further on HOMEBUSH JAG checked off the heels of BOTANY ANGELA losing further ground and he finished in last place. HOMEBUSH JAG was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 9	MEDIA WORKS C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	HI JEAN moved in with a circuit to run and checked HOMEBUSH MELL who went back to last. Soon after THRILLING REIGN collided with the back of WHAT WAYS HOME with both losing ground. On the first bend HOMEBUSH MELL shifted out and bumped with WHAT WAYS HOME and THRILLING REIGN with all three losing ground. THRILLING REIGN recovered best of them to make up ground for 4th place with the other two finishing at the rear.
Race 10	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C0/1D - C1d - 645	GONE ZILLA dropped out in the early part as is usual for him and his galloping action did not appear correct but he made up ground in the final stages to finish in 6th place but not far behind the runners ahead. GONE ZILLA was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury but is required to complete a satisfactory trial. The Trainer has advised the Stewards that GONE ZILLA will not be persevered with as a racing proposition.
Race 11	KEENAN CONCRETE C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH NELSON stumbled in its initial stride out of the boxes losing several lengths and all chance and he finished last.
Race 12	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C2 - C2 - 305	PEACE ICON was discovered to be wearing Number 6 instead of Number 7 when the field paraded onto the track and this was rectified and the race started on time. The Trainer R.Waite and the Kennel Steward S.Gardner were both fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 o for negligence. HOMEBUSH CINDY was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed at the rear throughout.
